    I've been searching for a good leather wallet tutorial for the past few days. I wanted a couple card holders, and area to store cash. This is literally exactly what I was envisioning. All other instructables and youtube tutorials just didn't have the function I wanted, but this is perfect. I would modify it to fit my personal tastes, like removing the button and editing some stuff. Most other tutorials I could find were super basic card holders without pockets.

    Loved your video! No fuss, no filters, just straight to the point! It just goes to show that even with pretty basic tools but good solid skills and a well thought out design, it's possible to achieve a very desirable product! I like how you very modestly described your wallet as "easy DIY"! It still does require excellent leather working techniques to create such a beautiful wallet!

  • @navypcc

    I inherited a whole bunch of tools, many are from the 19th century. One looks just like the small “fork” you used to punch in the stitching holes. I have no idea how to sharpen it though (or if I should) I reclaimed several rolls of brown Italian leather from a sofa that was being thrown out and I’d like to make something like a pair of saddlebags for my bicycle out of the leather but I have no experience doing this. Would you make a video showing others how to do this ? I’m a 100% disabled vet and I learn how to do projects here on UA-cam every week. (I can supply all the leather)

  • @YourCaliforniaSupply
    @YourCaliforniaSupply 5 років тому

    My advice would be to do hand stitching on the wallet since you are already putting so much effort into it. I believe it would give it a complete high quality feeling.
