Family Road Trip to Oceanside Oregon PLUS some Gouache Plein Air Painting

- come along for a family road trip for a day at the Oregon Coast at Tunnel Beach near Oceanside, Oregon. While my daughter, husband, and family dog play at the beach, I got to play with my dried gouache palette on watercolor paper to create a couple of small plein air paintings featuring the classic rock stacks lining the coastline.

Wow Thankyou for some beautiful coastal memories, I certainly remember the first sight of the sea stack rock formations! So beautiful to this landlocked prairie girl! (Ok no longer a girl) My husband and I took a road trip from Saskatchewan down through western Montana, Idaho, Nevada, over to California coast and up through Oregon and back to Saskatchewan via Alberta. One of my first acrylic landscapes was a coastal scene. A few years ago but still a favorite memory. The redwoods left me speechless and humbled! ☺️ I enjoyed seeing your lovely plein air paintings.
