Another awesome video 👍 Hey, I’d love to see a farm/machinery tour sometime. I think it would be very interesting to see all the beautiful Case IH equipment in one video. 🙏 Another video idea could be either you or your dad sharing the history of your farm. Have a blessed day tomorrow!!
Thanks so much! :) Appreciate your kindness! I will put that in my notes for future vids! Great idea, I love to hear what people would like to see! Appreciate the ideas! :) Stay tuned for that! Thanks for watching and have a wonderful week!
Awesome video again Kel's thanks, what cute little bales are they for your nephew's 😅. Was that a bit of dad cam you popped in ?.Great job carting the bails, awesome team work thanks again for sharing with us take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Happy to hear this! Thank you very much! :) Lol those tiny bales are indeed cute right?! Lol the only ones I can successfully roll around by myself--otherwise I need major help LoL. Little ones and some big bales are for my goats the rest large bales go to my uncles dairy farm. :) & Happy you noticed the dad cam footage! Hehe had to add that in! :) Thanks for watching have a great day!
You must have started young age operating tractors and equipment, for some reason I think that is your love and passion. I,ll bet you would make one hell of a truck driver also.
I did start young indeed! :) Farm living is truly my passion 100% Yes :) & Lol Aw Thank you! I’ve always wanted to drive truck and haul grain! Shout out to all the truckers out there! They deserve lots of shout outs! :) It’s a hard job hauling anything and dealing with traffic! I haul a bit when needed with the tractor and boxes and that’s a challenge in itself! lol :)
Hi Kels,I know what you mean by how big those round bales are we bale a lot of hay bales for our dairy and beef cattle, you and your dad make a great team awesome video 👍👍
Hi! Thanks for watching! :) Right?! Hard to move around that's forsure! Lol. I like the variety of sizes for variety of use :) That's awesome that you have dairy/beef cattle! Hope they are all doing great! & Awww happy to read that-- Thanks for saying that! :) Have a great day!
Thank you! :) It certainly is! Thanks for watching! I raise Boer goats for meat :) I don't milk any. Kidding Season is coming very soon! Once they kid I grow them up to a desired market weight and sell. I raise other breeds for buyers looking for a pet also!
Hey long time watcher, first time commenting lol. I have a question.. Do the corn stalk bales have any nutritional value? And does it work any good as bedding?
Thanks for watching!:) Happy to read the questions! :) Corn Straw Bales make excellent bedding for my goats and other animals like cattle :) It soaks up a lot. The previous reply to your comment I agree with! :) The nutrition value is very low but my goats still love to eat a bit of it every time they get bedded lol which is totally ok that they do! :) It is not their source of feed though. Thanks for watching my videos! Have a great day!
Hi! Great question! Typically the residue left doesn't interfere with the strip till process, however there are occurrences where it might! Clumps/piles of residue in the field will plug the unit up, but a consistent more evenly spread amount across the field does good with what we do after it typically. :) We also rotate our crops each year on most fields, so no-till drilled beans will follow up this field. :) Thanks for watching! :)
lol :) Right?! Spring/Summer time it’ll be back! Lol. Shines right through the cab and actually makes me tan even when I’m inside the cab or out of it lol :)
I hate to say it but I don't like them cheap material used on the steering wheel of that tractor your driving, on the other hand the little steering wheel on your combine cracks me up but the way that one wears a buffed shine from all the hand friction more a comfortable grip.
lol :) They all vary so much! I’m used to hopping around from all sorts of cabs truly don’t even have a favorite steering wheel :) love them all as long as it works! Lol :)
Great job hauling corn stalk bales Kels and your Dad
Thank you! :) It was very fun!

What are they use for?
Hey long time watcher, first time commenting lol. I have a question.. Do the corn stalk bales have any nutritional value? And does it work any good as bedding?
Nevermind the 2nd question you answered it in the video lol
Stover is pretty low in digestible energy and protein.

Does the residue left from the windrow interfere with your strip till row units?

I,d love to see you put them city girls to shame of all your skills and talents
lol :) AwThank you!
With all the field work you do, where is your farmers tan on your arms?
lol :) Right?! Spring/Summer time it’ll be back! Lol. Shines right through the cab and actually makes me tan even when I’m inside the cab or out of it lol :)
