I fell in love with his music since 1999, when I played Unreal Tournament 99. Good old times
My music hero! I've been using Steinberg's software for many years. Namely Cubase, Halion Sonic and Padshop Pro.
Deus Ex OST...amazing👍🏻
I played Jazz Jackrabbit 2 as a kid. I loved the soundtrack so much, that I played Deus ex just for the soundtrack.
That guy is friends with Xan Kriegor. Wowza.

OMG I loved Unreal music, It was awesome. Dope video game though.
It seems wrong Unreal game was shown not for commodore 64, but for PC. That's how it should be.
Wow he did not mention jazz jackrabbit…thats how I came to know about him
3:50 dragging audio from the media bay to an Audio track is still very frustrating. It needs several mouse clicks to make the selection you want interrupted by several mouse clicks to stop the preview Playback until you can finally drop a selection as a region to the arrangement
Hi alkex, u rock.
How much programming and scripting is required of the sound designer to be integrating reactive sound using Nuendo? I am interested in this world, but am not a scripter, and just use synths & Cubase to write music. in other words would I need to know Wwise and have access to the game engine, etc? I'll talk to the team I am working with, because we are working remotely across the planet as an indie team, and *just* started, but I want to bring the best sound design I can.
There's no need for scripting or programming to connect to Wwise. Nuendo does that out of it's own feature set.
From Tracker to Cubase.
Wrong art for Unreal? The on in video is amiga game, but he made music for Unreal from Epic Games… 2 different games.
GG for using the wrong UNREAL game as examples hahaha, got me laughing.
1:23 These idiots really put a completely different game on the screen when he said unreal
Wow. Probably doesn't want to hear Epic again but he is Epic. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is where I found him. Amazing composition.
