EPCOT's International Festival Of The Arts Preview! | Food Reviews, New Merch & Cool Art!

- In today's vlog we went to the EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts media event. This is one of the best festivals that EPCOT has to offer! We tasted a few of the festival menu items, we saw some of the performers and artists that we will be featured in the festival and we even got a chance to preview the all new Beauty and the Beast sing-a-long show and the Canada Far & Wide show, both were great. We previewed the new festival merch, it's all based around Figment, and it's all really cute. I was also able to try out some of the art booths that will be at the festival. There was hand art, which was fun and I think kids will really enjoy it. I also tried the art spin art, they had 2 options and one was on a bike, kids will definitely love that one, my artwork turned out pretty awesome too! Then we head back into the park to see some of the updates around EPCOT. We can't wait to head back for the opening day, the festival is running from January 17- February 24th 2020. @@spatrickf Quick Correction: Heidi didn't originate Ursula on Broadway. She was in the ensemble and an understudy for Sherie Renee Scott, who was the actual original Ursula. Heidi did replace her in the role when Scott eventually left the show though.

When I booked our trip for early Feb. I thought we'd missed all the festivities. So happy to find out we'll be smack dab in the middle of THIS festival! Thanks for all the info. Can't wait to do the Color Stroll.
The Festival of the Arts is the best one, especially when you consider the fact that it doesn't draw crowds the way the others do and you still have festival specific foods at the booths around the park.

It was truly an awesome experience running into Tim at Epcot and even humouring us with photos and recording 'time to pay the price'. Even more awesome was watching today's video and see it. GASP! You haven't seen the 1992 Three Musketeers? It has Tim Curry as Cardinal Richelieu and the ethereal Rebecca De Mornay as Countess d'Winter. Oh it was so good, fuel for many a day dream for my 11 year old self. And the song sung by Sting, Bryan Adams, and Rod Stewart is an ear worm of the best kind. The soundtrack is up there with The Last of the Mohicans.
Doing food tours through Epcot is the best. Thanks for sharing this experience!

Totally booked my trip unknowingly during this festival and when I found out I knew I would be in trouble. I LOVE art, and Broadway and food just a bit too much. After this video I can confirm I am SCREWED. I will be spending WAY too much money.

@ 24 min - That's Gavin Lee!!! What a treat! Not only did he originate the Role of Bert in the Mary Poppins musical in West End (London ) in 2004, but also the original Bert on Broadway in 2006. He's so talented. You may recognize him from playing Squidward Tentacles on Broadway (2017) Sponge Bob Square Pants Musical. He's amazing!!!! Also, the Three Musketeers movie was awesome in the early 90's. You know that song "All for One"? Rod Stuart? Sting? SO GOOD! That comes from that movie

I was wondering why the almond frangipane cake looked familiar and then I remembered that it is styled after a Piet Mondrain painting. Piet Mondrain was famous for his primary and white colored paintings that consist of rectangles and squares separated by black lines.

I love that they only played the Broadway versions of the music! It was honestly hard to pay attention to everything because I was too busy jamming out!
