I give Terri so much credit. She lost her beloved Steve to a wildlife accident and yet she takes it all in stride with the kids, there when Robert literally gets into pools with notoriously mean crocs, handles venomous snakes, etc. She must truly understand the importance of conservation if she’s willing to let her babies take risks, in the name of spreading conservation awareness.

There may be those who disagree with me but I think the crocodile behavior in this video is a testament to how well the staff, and the Irwin’s in particular, take care of their animals. The croc was literally confused because of sudden change due to something that was an accident. But rather than continue to act wild, Monty just waits patiently for the next cue. He’s so well behaved by default because he understands they take care of him. That’s how it should be in any captive situation.

In this clip, Monty seems to be infatuated with Terri's voice. He's listening to her totally motionless and doesn't move away until she does. I really like how they educate you what to do if you would encounter a croc in the wild. It's a matter of life and quick accident.

Steve was always scanning around himself to make sure when he needed to make a quick run, he won't bump into anything that might give a crock the edge. My worry for Robert is his comfort level. His father always reminded everyone, never be too comfortable. Know that crocs see you as food or rival and they will attack. He seemed chaotic but always in a flight mode. When he's near a croc his always in a crouching position ready to leap for safety. Steve talks to the audience but never takes his eyes off the beast, and that makes me a little at ease when watching him. Always praying for the young man. I know he'll be just as good as his father.

@@619mark1 Robert really does look and sound just like his father. I think they call that genetics though. He's grown up, in and around the family business. So naturally he really is a mini Steve Irwin. He's young and looks to know a lot about crocs and animals. I wonder as he get's older where his intrest will branch off 🤔 from that or something totally different. Love this family, they are genuine. My son played with the toys and watched the shows when he was little. I bought the talking Steve Irwin doll still in the original box, from that era. I'm going to give it to my son when he graduates next year. Boy to young man kinda of thing. He's around the same age as Robert. 🙂😉

@@laurenhall1070 for sure. And, that kind alligator show is older then his dad. If Robert is smart enough to go to veterinarian school or do something beyond what his dad did or at least update it or do it differently, I think he definitely should. It would be creepy if he turned into exactly his dad. Like he looses what it means to be Robert and just becomes his dad. Things have evolved from when his dad was around and his son should reflect that change and be Irwin version 2.0

How? Is the croc going to swallow him whole in one bite? They have safeguards I'm sure. He could take a vicious bite sure. Maybe some broken bones. Worst case scenario he dies. That's like every single safeguard failing. Not likely. Even then, he isn't getting eaten...unless they intended to feed Robert to Monty...which has happened in an alternate universe🤔

He came so close to being caught that I was afraid and praying for him every show. God bless the Irwin family and may they have long lives doing what Steve Irwin loved, caring for the animals. I meant no offense to the memory of Steve Irwin as he knew what he was doing. I was just afraid for him. And it is great to see that Terri is doing well. She was trying to block the croc's focus on the prey ( her son) it had just locked onto as soon as he fell into the water.
It kept tracking him even as he walked out of it and so Robert ( prey) knew to crouch down to hide behind his mum (block) until the croc lost his train of focus. Once he estimated that the croc's plan of action had been broken Robert felt safe to walk around and display himself as usual to re establish his normal status ( not vulnerable ) in the croc's environment.

ok but where is Robert underestimating Monty? I've seen multiple videos of the show, he doesn't get any closer to the crocodile than usual, besides falling into the water. Water that's clear, not deep, and he was close to the edge. And it wasn't his fault.

I feel like Robert is rushing into the action a little to fast just because of who his dad was. There was a big differences how Steve grew up and how robert grew up. I’d say Steve was as professional as robert is now at half his age.

In an elevator surprise, I met both of Siegfried and Roy's tigers when I took a show into Radio City Music Hall. I called for the elevator to go to dinner. The door opened and there was a SiBengal Tiger and a regular tiger in the elevator. After I completed the bottom of the food chain moment, I realised there was a trainer with the tigers. He mumbles something about the elevator not supposed to stop when the tigers were being transported from the roof to exercise to their holding cages deep within the bowels of Radio City. It is still shocking to remember, one of those tigers on the elevator mauled Roy Horn and he was never able to perform again until his death.

for Monty's size i think there need to be 2 more person on the side to standby in case accident happen , i saw in a Thailand croc show where disaster strike when the croc went straight into a death roll boy was that horrific , Thai crocs shows will have trainers or the host put their hands or head (previously) into a croc after testing the croc for sometime, this is so tense watching it and this is not even close to what the Thai show is doing, im not sure if in Thailand are they still performing such croc shows , do u guys know where else performs such croc shows or events? In Singapore previously there was a croc farm but now its closed or so i think or if not it could be out of limits to the public, i had being trying to find a croc farm in Singapore still; However there are still lots of wild crocs in Singapore rivers and seaside just that we cant see them easily

I would like to know if there is any continuity to when crocs don’t eat. For example, do they get full? It seems as if there is no way of knowing if they would eat everything in sight indefinitely but just get more lazy as time goes by, or if they just get full sometimes.
