I love Fall and live there all year (except for the few weeks I decorate for Christmas). It doesn't get better.
Such lovely cards! I’m so glad I’m not the only one obsessed with pumpkin candles and things. The last few months I felt kind of….down. And then I remembered how the smell of fall just makes my heart feel full, and automatically brings up good memories. So I went out and bought a couple of pumpkin spice candles. Sure enough the moment I lit it I could feel myself calming down. It’s amazing how the scent of something can bring you right back to a happy time and change your mood.
Oh, thank you for sharing. I love that story. I feel the same way. I have a friend who sells Scentsy and she has tried to get me to branch out and try other scents, which I have, but I know what I like and what makes me happy in my home, so I only buy those things from her, and I LOVE them. She supports me 100% and will alert me right away when the new stuff comes available. We need to be comfortable in our homes, whatever that looks like for each of us. And smells can trigger so many different things, lets find the ones that trigger comfort, joy, peace, etc., and stick to them. I'm glad you were able to calm yourself down with those warm comforting candles. Yay you!

Ok Nancy, your nails are fantastic!!! The 3 x 3 cards are all great, and I know it’s your favorite season, but I don’t even want to think about summer ending! The beautiful copper leaves are from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Foil Paper Pack. It has copper, gold & silver in the pack! Love all of your cards and tags! The daisy tag is gorgeous with all the texture!!!
Oh thank you! I want you to enjoy summer for as long as you can. You know I kinda create my own Fall within my home, so it can be whatever season outside. I want you to be happy. Thank you for the info on the copper paper. I know you have told me before, but you know my brain. Thank you. I need to get some of that, it is STUNNING!
You’re filming this at 2ish in the am and I’m watching this at 3ish in the am. I have my days and nights flipped. It’s a really hard habit to break, especially if I have to be somewhere early in the morning. Ok first of all love your nails, they are so you. I just bought some decorated artificial nails, but no glue. What kind do you use? Now for your projects, love them all but hands down the snowman is my favorite. He is so cute and the background you created is so stunning. Absolutely love him. I cracked up when you said the hippo was in the sun too long and got a bit burnt. I love the background you created on your flamingo tag too. You are the queen of backgrounds. I always buy a huge supply of Glade’s essential oil plug in warmers around the holidays in pumpkin spice so my house can smell that way all year long. Sometimes I’ll get the lavender for summer, but I always have my house very fragrant. Have a great rest of your weekend my friend. It was in the 80’s here today and right now at 3:35 it’s 56. I’m in heaven. However it will be short lived as usual, so enjoying it while I can.
Oh, I understand about day/night reversal. My sleep has been wacky for years now, and while I fall asleep easily and early, I don't stay there, and am up most nights. Thank you, re: my nails. It was fun getting them done. I don't use nail glue, as these are gel and I get them done in a salon. That snowman image is so sweet. There are so many of them out there. I love making backgrounds, that is why I need to stop buying patterned paper. lol. A couple weeks ago I bought all of the glade plugins with the pumpkin scent from Wall-Mart online. Lol. I only use the plug ins in the bathroom, but I have candles going in other rooms. Your temps sound amazing right now. It has cooled off here as well, but I have to say I am still struggling with my breathing. Staying inside as much as I am able.
