"Work on accepting it", enough work has been done there. Indians are very self-critical but where is the action? @ i lived in a hotel. i paid 200 usd per night. it was a hundred year hotel. never in my life have i lived in such a place. not even in india. it was a horrible experience. on the website they showed all nice pics of the renovated lobby but the actual room was hundred years old. we were new to the town and had no where else to go. this was hotel pennsylvania. what a cheat. what a lie. what respect ? my foot !!!

I think most of the tourist land in Delhi or Mumbai that is densely populated area,most areas are garbage and dump ,In summer u will become tandoor 🔥 and in winter ❄️ u will become ice ball , my experience when i visit delhi in April,the hot dry air squeezes my face and hands, my hairs are laterally melting,the govt is taking tax ,doing nothing for pollution and in global forum saying that give us time to reduce CO2 emissions, because the European countries have a large contribution on increasing temperature in atmosphere it is true but it doesn't mean that India should not take any step, infact India has taken some but it is not enough . Indians have good private cleanliness but public cleanliness and civic sense is seriously lacking (lots of spitting, littering and lack of lane discipline). But I dont agree that the entire country is a dump, they are beautiful areas eevn near major cities like mumbai (eg Ratangadh, Bhairavgad fort, Bhandardara etc ). More dense, touristy and urban areas definitely are. And the redditor is wrong about Heritage sites, lots of them are maintained by Archeological survey of india and no graffiti can be done in there.

As a biritsh Indian i agree with some parts he says. India is a dump, unless you go to the posh areas - like private resorts . Its so disappointing to see the state of the infrastructure and hygiene. The street food gives stomach aches , theres so many stray dogs and even cows on the road . The constant horn in traffic are horrible. Even when you visit medics theres stray dogs on the stairs. Its horrible to walk there. However unlike that guy he completely omits the culture and vibrant life. The people , family are amazing. Theyre always so cheerful and active . You have cheap maid services who clean your apartments daily. The navrati festival was on completely different level to that in the UK. India has so much to offer the culture and people are amazing especially compared to the dull depressing lifeystyle the uk offers ,but the state of the country is a dump and people just dont care they litter everywhere spit on roads etc etc

India is a dump, unless you go to the posh areas - like private resorts . Its so disappointing to see the state of the infrastructure and hygiene. The street food gives stomach aches , theres so many stray dogs and even cows on the road . The constant horn in traffic are horrible. Even when you visit medics theres stray dogs on the stairs. Its horrible to walk there. However unlike that guy he completely omits the culture and vibrant life. The people , family are amazing. Theyre always so cheerful and active . You have cheap maid services who clean your apartments daily. The navrati festival was on completely different level to that in the UK. India has so much to offer the culture and people are amazing especially compared to the dull depressing lifeystyle the uk offers ,but the state of the country is a dump and people just dont care they litter everywhere spit on roads etc etc
