0:42 - This is a bit of a weird question but I haven’t seen anything about this on Google or the Master List. Do you think The Phantom of the Opera influenced Infinite’s design (given the Ruby name) or does the former theater kid in me need to touch grass? Fun fact, I think Japan’s Takarazuka Phantom production is based off of a different musical than the more famous one by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
1:28 - What would the New Yoke, Boscage Maze, and No Place variants of the Hooligans be like? And what would it say about the real Bark, Bean and Fang?
2:50 - You’ve stated once before that the Modern Sonic games generally take place in the order they released. I’d be surprised if there weren’t exceptions to this, but since I know you can’t really talk about the timeline for the time being, would you at least be able to say if the recent modern games starting from Sonic Frontiers up until now take place in the order they were released as well as if we can expect future Modern releases (remakes aside) to also take place in release order unless stated otherwise? I figured maybe you could answer at least this since it is the current and recent state of Sonic and not the clean up of its confusing history that you and the lore team are secretly working on. If you can’t answer this though, then sorry for asking.

5:43 - In the May 6th, 2024 Bumblekast, Kyle said you never watched any anime in your lives. That statement was an obvious joke, so I ask both of you: Which anime have you watched 100%? If none (I doubt it), which anime you have watched the most? You can't answer "Sonic X"
9:09 - If Whisper's weapon was disabled or unavailable, could Whisper use her Wisp friends' power by combining with them like Sonic did in Colors?
9:27 - The 7th season of the MHA anime has now started at the time of this question (no spoilers), but to make it a relevant question, let's look at another divisive character: Katsuki Bakugo, or rather Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, if you will. The main rival for our main protagonist Izuku, he is a character that many find interesting in terms of his portrayal, i.e. a hotheaded foul mouth egotist, that while quite abrasive, goes on to develop more from those early chapters. However it is that early introduction where he is at his worst, with him with being more abusive towards Izuku, and even series author, Kohei Horikoshi, thinking that he made him way too aggressive in the 1st chapter, even being surprised by his popularity, thinking most would hate him. Regardless, he is still a fan favorite and I wanted your thoughts on him are. How do you enjoy his character so far, and do you think that him being at worst at the beginning makes up for his later development?

We're sending a multiverse-hardened and slightly emotionally matured Starline to IDW issue 1, taking everything he's learned from advising countless despots to try and change his fate, any way he can. The catch is that he will look like a common duck nermie, and be unable to say, write, or charade that he is a future Starline - no shortcuts. How go?
26:58 - This is kind of a weird question for both of you, but with all the years of answering questions, have you started to notice patterns emerging with what we ask? Like do you notice people having periods where their questions are, for example, a little unsure, then more confident, then weird? Did you read this question, go "Great. DL is in his 'asking meta questions' phase. Only a few more before he tries to be funny.” Basically, do we have noticeable arcs?
28:16 - Continuing from my previous question about the Master Emerald... YOU said that Super Mecha Sonic and Super Neo Metal Sonic were legit Super Forms because they turned 24-karat but unless SEGA retconned it, that form can only be granted by the Chaos Emeralds' energy. Likewise, we see in Frontiers that the ME hijacked the CEs to force the Ancients to land on Earth. Thus, to reiterate my question: Does the Master Emerald use the same energy as the Chaos Emeralds or not?

@@themightofgeburah5882 Okay, so I've spent a long time looking, and the closest I could find to what Andrew was referring to was the question at 41:53 on BumbleKast 81 (skip to 47:05 if you just want the quote). This, however, isn't very reliable information for recent releases considering in the same question Ian discusses two worlds and the IDW comics not being canon.
Andrew also asked the same question he asked this episode on the April 8th 2024 BK, and Kyle said this was brought up recently, but I looked through every single question asked this year and I still came up with nothing. Either I missed it or Kyle's definition of "recent" meant "happened in the last 6 years". But on the topic of that previous question, Ian says he now disagrees with what he said, since there are too many exceptions for "generally" to be used accurately. Also, just in case you're curious about Dream Team's placement on the timeline, Ian confirms on the January 8th, 2024 BK (at 2:33) that it happened after Frontiers.

The question 17:16 was really very nice and now sincerely would see a reverse situation xD (sorry again for this comment but I don't know why UA-cam hasn't saved my previous comment about this ) and remember with this topic that in the end Sonic didn't really want to leave either and that for he it would never be goodbye because he knew that they would see each other again very soon while also making it clear that they would never be separated because they are the same despite all their "differences" and that they can stay on Earth but it's their whole planet that can't (not meant in a totalitarian way) makes me both happy and a little sad because it makes you think about the relationship that these main characters actually have with Sonic and Sonic with them and realize how much we actually don't know much about Sonic's character.

4:02 so tails is fretting but cosmos and zoey have the emotional maturity turn their vee into a trouple. if he can get out of his own head anyway. neat that tails doesn't get run through the emotional grinder his third time around iteration.
I kinda was expecting Tom and Chris to be concerned about Elise since she kissed her Sonic, who was dead at the time.
But I guess Tom and Elise being concerned of Chris makes sense too.

It really could go either way.
I've been thinking about how Metal Virus would translate to a game, my main issue is how the non-Sonic characters would work, because "touch a Zombot once = Game Over" is probably too brutal for Sonic's core demographic. Sonic himself, being infected to start with, might have an infection meter that rapidly fills if he's not running, and getting hit by Zombots accelerates it (think the Corruption mechanic in Metroid Prime 3, too). But you'd need Tails, Amy, Tangle, Vector, Silver and more to be playable too, it's a question of how you'd do that.
Actually getting to play Tangle's last stand would be incredible though. Needing to hold the line for a certain time as the refugees escape, then once the timer is up, the objective changes to just "Go down fighting"'. The interface gets more screwy and your buttons gradually stop working one-by-one as her infection progresses, and then eventually the whole screen goes black and the level just ENDS.
I know you don't care for ships, but you ARE SO GOOD AT PAINTING THESE SCENARIOS!!! The Cosmo x Tails x Zooey question floored me!!! 😂🤣😂🤣 I don't see how you don't like ships though since you watched all of Tenchi Muyo, that show thrives on ships!

Does Tangle have a country accent? I ask because Mimic calls her a rube and a yokel, which are typically associated with people from the country. Was she made with that type of voice in mind?
For me, the remasters (Colors, Generation etc..) take place in the past and the new games, in the present.
There's no way Amy would receive character development to detach herself from Sonic and then become crazy about him again.

18:32 Alternate idea: maybe fans can submit ALL of the ways Eggman Nega could come back (even the wacky or especially contrived ones just to be safe) so that they are all fan ideas. That way even if SEGA considers bringing him back, there's no way for him to come back; every bridge to that point is burned beyond ash.
What about through time cloning?
If Cosmo was in Boom, she would be an alien, but it would be only mentioned once and have no effect on the story at all, similar to how Knuckles was from Angel Island in Boom
Shadow and Samus trading places would go surprisingly well, I think.
Give Shadow a task to tear through alien monsters and kill some sort of ancient evil, he's on it.
Meanwhile, the Restoration would probably be elated to have a powerful fighter who's similarly serious and ruthless as Shadow, but can actually be talked to.

in some of the archie comics, specifically sonic universe, we see shadow and blaze interact a lot which I really liked cause they worked well off eachother I think. so the question is if Archie continued, would we of seen more of these two team up? how would it go (same question could be applied to idw but I'll let you decide if you wanna answer that one)

What are your thoughts on the lore Sonic Frontiers added from the perspective of a fan rather than someone working for SEGA? Me personally, I'm not sure how to feel about stuff like the ancients and the chaos emeralds being aliens, but I'm leaning towards not liking it very much. One of the appeals of Sonic's world (And one of the reason's I preferred the idea of one world compared to two worlds before it was outright confirmed) to me was the idea that everything supernatural about to us is pretty normal to them, myths and legends aside. It created the same sense that Marvel world does, where the grounded setting mixed with all the super powers and powered gems makes it feel all the more closer to home. That's just me though, sorry for the ramble!

What would happen if sonic and transformers crossed over? Would eggman atempt to enslave the cybertronians, or would he bond with the likes of shockwave over their shared twisted mechanical ideas, and how would sonic fare against the decepticons, would he intimidate them after their first fight, or would he struggle against the giant robots.(Mostly talking about the g1 versions of the transformers so its more in line of what hasbro would want to do, so megatron turns into a gun, which could also be a goofy plot point where shadow picks him up and uses megatron against the other decepticons and eggman)
