I was EXTREMELY hesitant to revisit Eventide Island after what I experienced there in BotW. Imagine my surprise when I found my favorite helmet within the depths!
I'm pretty sure all the shrines are the names of the developers being warped in some way, but it could be a fun nod. Do we know if Marin's Japanese name is the same as it is in English?
It's funny how i found the no equipment BotW challenge such a hard thing to beat whilst when i returned in TotK with ridiculously OP weapons and experience and a ton of hearts i was able to murder my way through the bokoblinsretty easily 🤣
5:58 That particular chest with 10 arrows in BotW is the *only* chest in the entire game that respawns every time you leave the area and come back (or simply teleport in-place with the travel medallion). You can collect as many arrows as you want from it.
My theory for links awakening names being in hyrule other then just for gameplay reasons is that after links awakening the hero of legend told everyone about his adventures on koholent
Swag and cool video, as always. Particularly liked the Link's Awakening comparisons, it's neat to learn about references I might not have thought of before
Eventually a video comparing / showcasing every previous zelda reference and easter egg in botw and totk might be cool. For example, another Link’s Awakening reference is Mabe Village in Hyrule Field
Did I miss anything cool? Which area would you like to see next? Lemme know!
Hi
U mean except your gliders, Runes and Champions abilities
Oh true, I did leave out the champ's abilities. Good eye, thanks.

It would be cool to see a video specifically on Hyrule Castle

Glad Midna made it worth it. There's also a king gleeok directly above in the sky with a sage's will.
The Mararian shrine might be named after Marin from Links Awakening
marinara
Nothing beats the first time landing on Eventide
Why did they remove this shrine in totk??? I missed it in botw and I want to try it now!
I wonder if the "Marari-in" Shrine is named after Marin
Interesting observation. It's close enough that it could be, but some might call it a stretch.

@@CrazyWeridoRH The BotW shrines were named after developers; the TotK shrines are anagrams of locations in Japan
I didn't know the Link's Awakening references in these games! It made the video even better

Secluded by the Necluda Sea. Neat.
I appreciate your appreciation of my wordplay lol. Thanks!

Is the Eventide Island Cave a refrence to Wind Waker perhaps? It looks similar to the one on the beginning island
I’m loving these videos
Great video as always!
I love this series
Hello
Yo Matt, thanks for watching!
You…could have just stealthily grabbed it? I spent a good 30 minutes to kill that Hinox…

TONY NEVER FAILS TO DELIVER
This island is one of my favorite places in the game and it definitely deserves it's own video
For the guy was just still there I mean they probably lived quite a while 9:17
Ey frenz
Yo Gregory, thanks for watching!
Cool. I’m kinda early. Although I started playing other games and took a break from TotK, I still LOVE all the videos about it. :)
I think there is a stalnox at the bottom of the eventide chasm!!
I think you're thinking of the Akkala house of bones chasm
@@dominicmoisant8393 oh shoot you're so right! my bad! 😆

Ayy one of my favorite Zelda UA-camrs still making more videos
Aw, thanks. Got busy with irl stuff most of 2023, but back now and looking to be consistently active
4:22 You found the raft, but you also found an assassination attempt
Lol dang octoroks. I was like "aye youre messing up my shot we're filming here!"
i didnt actually realise that eventide was in totk, i never finished it in botw. might have to make that a new personal goal lol
