Honestly, we are not so interesting to learn those history because those can't change anything in our future life, but if you can teach some Tibetan history, then it will be great for the next generation.
you can take the apporch in such way that atleast you will understand who they belong from, if you dont know the history of yourself and ancestros you dont know where are you coming from then..
