Thank you! i’ve seen some of your videos on your 87. i need to follow in your footsteps regarding my brake calipers. my stock brakes are a little weak haha
yes, totally agree. i’ve been driving it like that for almost 2 years. though it would handle MUCH better if i raised the car, it still works phenomenal. this generation has no option for a drop knuckle, therefore i must change out my lower control arm and whole knuckle assembly to the following generation’s setup, then buy a drop knuckle kit for that… definitely on the list of things to do!
Sick build! Hows the inline fuel pump working? Im in the middle of swapping a 1uz into an 87 pickup (22r) and am trying to figure out the best pump setup. Did you run -6an hose all the way from the tank?
Awesome build. A lot of custom work done to it. Any reason you didn’t build the front upper an arm mounts higher so the angle is more level / matches with the lower arm?
though my control arm angle is not ideal, it works for what i am doing for now. i chose to leave the stock mounting locations so i can run a proper drop knuckle once i switch to the 2nd gen pickup control arm and knuckle assembly. if i raised the upper control arm mount i would need to raise the lower control arm mount as well, too much work haha.
Nice build! The StabFab components are great. I’m running his coilovers kit and arms on my 87 mini. Great upgrade

Very sick build man, I'm really into getting a rn30/40 or a rn50 to be making a drift project. Keep the videos coming my brother💪
Super cool build. Only thing to consider is the WILD angle on the front upper control arms... The camber gain must be nuts.

Love it! Nice work!👌💯
You get a like from me because of the sweet job on the truck, and for using Electric Wizard for your intro! 🤘
Well done , looks like good fun 😊
Dope , I got a 1980 with the original motor , but I’m thinking about building it
Good Shout Out to Jake at Stabfab

Thanks! The inline pump is a little loud but it works. -6an from the tank to the rails.
