Wowza, Kim. It fits! Wouldn't have predicated that! I still have to scratch my head to understand why you would need a truck…? Your bike rack works just fine with the X, even if it takes longer to put it on and take it off…? Most important of all, I hope your recovery is going well! It's NO FUN having surgery.
The rated range for the Cybertruck is on all-season tires...which it doesn't currently come with. Also, the Cybertruck you tested is so loud because again, the tires aren't all-seasons...in fact, they are aftermarket mud-bog tires which are notoriously loud and absolutely contributed to the noise. Test it with all season tires and you'll be pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is and the mileage improvements.
Awesome comparsion Kim , hit all the bases. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hilarious the mother daughter relationship at times , kids , the crazy things they do , im sure in time she will be your best buddy.
I currently drive a 2022 Model X refresh LR six seater. Last week I got the VIN for the FS CyberTruck I configured the first week of December. After all the info out now on poor efficiency, less that stellar range performance and especially the slow slow charging speed I’ve decided to let my CT VIN go and keep driving my Model X for a couple more years. It seems that Tesla has some issues that need to still be worked out on the CyberTruck. These Foundation Series are not only at a $20,000 premium but are also going to be as undesirable in the future as are the original Model Y and again the 4680 Model Y due to the issues of them not quite being ready for prime time. If it was the actual price without the premium I would probably be willing to be a Guinea pig early adopter but with the issues and that extra $20,000…no way I’ll wait. They don’t even have activated autopilot much less the FSD that they are charging you for. In the end it will be worth forfeiting my deposit.
Same scenario for me - received my notification back in May to finalize my early Cybertruck reservation from 2019. I'm keeping our current Tesla and will wait for a more refined Cybertruck.
When parking the two next to each other, try backing the truck into the garage. That way you can "tuck in" then at the last second cut the wheel hard left and tuck in the front. You'll be amazed how much extra room you have
Cyber truck has 4 wheel steer so that would cause the other corner of truck to in to the middle of garage. It does mean you can get closer, but driving it slightly differently.
Great video. But this just confirms that I would much rather have a Rivian R1T than a Cybertruck. Other than Steer by Wire.. Nothing about the cybertruck is appealing.
You see a pretty woman like Kim and you think her life must be great and it likely is pretty good. But her life is not without challenges like her stomach surgery etc. Thanks for sharing Kim.
@@ItsKimJava I get that the metal is a 1.4 or 1.8 mm but razor sharp. These were supposed to be coined aka rounded off at the factory I get that this could still be dangerous Kim. But razor sharp is well razor sharp. Can you shave you legs with the CT ?
I am thinking that those off Cybert truck road tires are making for a big range hit, likely get 270 to 280 miles on all seasons with good aro covers, would be interesting to see someone change out those tires and do a range test!
I've seen multiple people mentioning the safety issues with the frunk and the doors But, if you close any door on someones finger, it's going to have the same effect 🤣
8:30 Model X still would be more easy.... Cause you dont have to climb, you already got a proper mount. Which you obvious dont have right now for the CT. In both cases, you have the bikes outside.
So which one does the kids like better? How about seat feel/driving for the kids? I have an order coming up, not sure if it’ll be better than my MXP for the kids

Kim is onto something here. Why does an electric vehicle need to be shoehorned in to the sedan, SUV, or truck categories. We called carriages automobiles when we got rid of the horse. Time for a new name, FEV, Family Electric Vehicle. The MX and CT fit the bill for certain family mixes.
Yes but much of that is by nature of its design. Doesn't personally bother me and the truck is so unique on the roads against others that thats the last thing anyone will notice either.
Cool comparison, Kim! I still love the X but for people who need a truck bed, the Cybertruck is obvously a great choice. After seeing those sharp door edges, I do hope that future Cybertruck owners dont park by me! Lol Can you spell the name of your health diagnosis? I havent heard of it before and I was going to look it up. So sorry to hear you had to have surgery but glad that you are taking preventive steps. We will keep you in our prayers ❤
I have a Cyberbeast on order to be delivered between June and December. I have a 2016 Model S P100DL and thinking of transferring FSD and Supercharging to a new Model X. This is exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you for the great content!
well... 2 car garage... you park cars opposite (on front one back): if you do it, you can squeeze both vehicles very close to each other passenger's sides, which you don't use as access dors on garage anyway. If you do it, you gain more space on each driver's sides. Thats how you should do it, but of course, many people didn't get much experience of parking backwards....and that could be the main problem for many people. This skill should be perfected by everyone no matter if they have Tesla with self-parking ability or not.
I’m contemplating this very thing. For similar pricing, knowing there’s a long waiting list and the fact that model X can pull 5,000 lbs I’m torn. Thank you for the great content as always
Parking 2 very large vehicles in a garage is pretty good. Not something you would want to do everyday but nice to be able to do in case of hail or storms
I really feel like the people that own a model x will be the ones that own the cybertruck. Obviously model s owners too.. The people that have a model 3/model y would have issues with affordability of the two most sold models of Tesla.
Make a kids visibility test CT vs X and some other truck like F150. Position kids in same position and test from driver seat do you see them or not. Use a regular air suspension hight.
Maybe a little far fetched. If someone used the Cybertruck camper tent that fits on the tonneau, but has removed the rear window, would cabin heat or cool filter through from the cab to the tent? If so perhaps a truck sliding window could be installed. Or maybe not. The tonneau moving up & down would be a cucumber slicer.

The mileage was with the factory tires. These tires were just swapped.
Not to mention those are not mud tires. They are a pretty standard all terrain pattern you see on a lot of trucks. Not that aggressive
For someone who has recently had surgery, Kim, you look great. Remember always that one's health is the number one priority.

Doesn’t work in super tight environments or on subtle slopes (our driveway)

Could have put the stroller in the bed of the CyberTruck.
there is no question that the worst frunk from Tesla is the cybertruck even though it has a power function. it's just poorly designed for use.
No doubt the range is a factor and disappointment especially if you have to tow reasonable distances for Cybertruck.
