You remind me of the only time I fished on Guntersville with my cousins (they live in Albertville). We weren't so lucky, so my cousins decided to waterski with their friends). I had recently come home from the Navy and Vietnam. Congratulations for fishing so well.

I respectfully must disagree on that. When that accident happened, I thought for a little bit, that John was either going to be badly injured...or worse! I respect people's opinions, but this new footage is, at least to me, nightmarish!
I prefer the old entrance video. At least, John doesn't come close to being injured...or worse!

I really like these tournament videos, that 20.25 was a 5lbr, way to go bro, 7th place 390$ that's great! The spinnerbait is your bait you are the only angler I see catching fish with it, it's hard to throw it

Love your videos!!! You fished in my stomping ground. I grew up about 2 miles down the road from that red bridge. My kids and I have caught thousands of crappie on that creek. I live on the mountain now about 2 miles from the cabin you were staying in.

My oh my, another 90 incher day !! All the catches were super, lots of hook ups, but the lead in footage and music had me HEE HAWING !! I bout fell outa my chair !! That was brilliant ! Caught my biggest for the year at a lake I have never been to it was a fat little smallmouth 10 inches, working my way back to getting out more, next year I will be out in the kayak. Watching your videos of creek and tournaments keep me pushing forward to get back out.

Thank you for taking us along, really appreciate the adventure. Add a trailer hook, if the rules allow it, reduces quick release. If I were younger, I would get a kayak, to get into the places the bass boat won't fit. Thanks again!

you should get net you like and keep it up front - good content on this one plus you had some fun - solid finish in top10 - you can't complain - you were not that far behind top finishers - you did catch some fish right in the channel do some more of these tourneys, get some merch (hoodies) with topo maps of the big impoundments, get a fish finder - important going into fall when they start to stack up in big waters

Since you mentioned your War Eagle possibly breaking at the beginning of the vid... Megabass SV-3 spinnerbaits are super durable. I've caught over 100 fish on one of them. Sure it got bent out, but I was easily able to bend it right back. They're slightly more expensive than War Eagles.

Even when your a foot away.... you still insist on flipping, even slamming, the fish back into the water during release. Not even a fake attempt at a gentle release. This video not as bad as some, but you always do that. Especially annoying when your farther away from water. Do you NOT understand that you can hurt fish during a rough release--even from a distance as short as a few feet? My hillbilly grandaddy knew that. Talk to a fish biologist if you dont believe me... As a Christain, ya think youd have a little more respect for your Gods creations.
i have talked to biologist and they say the fish are a lot tougher than people think
