I don't typically jump when I hear music. I was even watching the video and I saw the lead singer get ready to start singing. But the silence at the beginning.... I wasnt prepared for the sudden start of the music xD me gusta :D

They didn't exactly copy Phantasmagoria. Sure some elements of the video may be the same... But, the music my dears... The music is different. You must understand that all music is influenced from what came before as any kind of art or ideals... So it's quite understandable that two bands in the same musical category will mirror previous ideas.
+Vermillion Bloodwind (赤いバラの神聖怒り) it is what it is. ive seen worse-as im sure many of us have if we're listening to nega and criticizing them for their success.

But VK's standard sound is Primarily a Rock - MetalCore base though. As Like I Said it was Inspired by American 80's hair Metal. They Are a Crazy/ Insane Artistic Culture of People who Love Classical Ways, Diversity & Taking Things/ Fads Up a Notch Always.
Its all good. You could try "Gateways" or "Dimmu Borgir" Live to see the orchestra. The big shows have giant flags with pentagrams on them to make sure your watching the bigs shows. I've even forgotten to mention they have a choir as well. Beliefs Respected

The few good American Bands like Motionless in White are still a bit better in my opinion though when it comes to rocking ;}. Visual Kei/Jrock do have better taste when it comes to actually singing and using other instruments such as Violins and such.
Not all Visual Kei is metal, Nega is a visual kei band that plays metal. To prove my point, Perestroika is all of the members of Nega but playing an entirely different style. But still Visual Kei. If I need to re-word this since english isnt your first language, please say so.

To be honest it doesn't really matter if it's a lil bit similar to neo ark Cuz the songs sound completely different and although there could have been something better with the creepy guy it's all good cuz that's the way NEGA decided it to be So rock on NEGA!!!!!!!!!
idk about the WHOLE orchestra thing, but they got piano , violent. and D has the whole opera thing going on. denial no sir. and i think Europe bands from like germany are good from the growl videos i seen. i plan on finding some good bands that speak their own languge with english or without it. but Japan is best
Well the band i mentioned isnt Metal its rock and note i didnt mention metal at all neither did the comment i replied to. I listen to many Visual Kei/Jrock bands and Visual kei isnt meant to sound metal its meant for every song to be different and unique. There are bands that focus more on a more metal or darker sound but their not american metal bands. Cant even really compare American and Japanese bands to well when their so different.
but nega have become a lot more active recently and more popular and stuff so its not really angura and besides angura is more like inugami circus-dan with more japanese orientated fasion and style just saying:p
Cant argue with the vocal part because ive heard some shitty vocals sometimes but i think i have plenty experience with Kei bands that have metal sound as i havent said anything wrong yet. I think their are a few bands that are a bit better then some visual kei bands though such as Dimmu Borgir. When i say better i mean their members are older, more experienced and their just better players. I love Japan's music but i have to be honest.

The zombie person wasn't even that creepy, it was just kinda there, and the whole thing with the black paint was pointless. It really seemed like part of it was a rip-off of Phantasmagoria's NEO ARK pv. I didn't really like it. And like I said before, this is NOT a hate comment and I do like NEGA and this song. Theres no use trying to argue with you. Its ignorant to dismiss other bands because their not JRock/Visual Kei. I love Visual Kei but i listen to music all over the world equally and know the difficulties of every song. And what sounds good to one person is different to another. Yea ikr. And Dimmu Borgir is originated from Norway yes (home of Black Metal in my opinion). Thing is alot of American bands these days are so into the screaming and growling they dont do good clean vocals like JRock and other European Bands which is a reason i love foreign bands. There are many good ones in America but the most famous ones you hear about like Asking Alexandria, BVB, and those type of bands are only talented in the instrumental department.. welll vocals are talented but wasted.
Believe me its an entire orchestra. Check them out live at one of their big shows if you don't believe me. D is one of my favorites and their impressive, Asagi is one of the most talented vocalist in the world in my opinion. And its your own opinion if you think Japan is the best. Their music is great, i love it but their skill/talent level isnt as high as alot of other bands around the world. It may sound better to you and to me but the truth is its simply not the best in the world.
