Thank you for clearing up the visit President Trump enjoyed with Her Majesty. Why anyone would besmirch King Charles visiting a town grieving for the murder of three innocent little girls is beyond me. Shame on you.

Keir Starmer went and was heckled because no one believes he cares. The royals however, DO care and when they visit disaster areas they listen to the grieving and the survivors. People appreciate having their pain acknowledged and that's what the royals do, bring comfort.

They are always there, to see people, and to support many patronages. I think it's rather comforting, actually. King Charles offered comfort to the families of the children. He did what he thought was proper in speaking to the parents. I thought it was a caring and loving thing to do.
Queen Elizabeth had impeccable manners. Yes, he walked in front of her, but he also reached out to her in the most difficult period of her life. Sometimes someone like the King just giving a kind word or a hand on the shoulder let's you know people really care about what has happened. I am in NY and when this story broke I cried, my heart was broken as if I knew these children because it could have been anyone's child anywhere or heaven forbid it could happen again somewhere else in the world.
