Good grief, I didn't realize that having great flights was as simple as brushing my teeth before the start of the hike! This is an invaluable tip, and is exactly why I subscribe to your channel, Robert.
Shame about the 1st flight issue Robert. I once took off 600ft above Rhossili beach, forgot to tighten up the leg straps. I couldn't physically pull myself up and onto the seat board. It took me 3 mins to get down to the beach (no side landing options) all the while the straps were cutting into my scrotum. You bet I never made that mistake again :)
You have to work on your teeth brushing technique so you don’t scrub your gums away with improper brushing. On the other hand, your flying skills are something to be envious of.
@@paraglidingtalk oh that’s not far at all. My site is 1,000’ vertical and 1.5 miles. It usually takes me 45 minutes to an hour (I’m slow, and we usually hike during a pretty hot time of year). But I have done it twice in one day. I was still really new and motivated, and still sunk out in 6 minutes both times lol. I’ve had really good flights from there since though.
Somewhat scary to watch....geezers! The hiking part that's a no for this paramom! You always were my little daredevil!! Love you son! 😅
The new adventures are actually pretty cool. Thanks as always for bringing us along
Haha 😂 that talking on the phone and only giving it the "em hmm, .... yeah, " while you're trying to excute some important maneuver is relatable
Landings are a great value and so much fun. I can spend hours practicing as in some of my recent vids.

That second one was a nail biter!
nicely done
I’m still learning. 🙌🏻
Damn buddy! I’m seriously impressed! Now you just need to work on your bottom landing skills. 🤣😉
It was so thermic there was no landing in that field without getting my butt kicked. I had to work that thing out to the road. LOL

How far is the hike at LB?
Phil hiked up in 9 minutes. If I had to guess, it’s about a quarter mile and 300ft
