- We decided to do three teams VS each other on the same map for one round... each team spends 1 round starting as the seekers. It resulted in one of the most embarrassing moments of my life...

Odyssee Hide and Seek but with an actual traitor would be great. Like Among Us Odyssey Hide and Seek:
One player is the secret impostor, acting like a hider but secretly selling the other hiders out to the seeker and working together with the seeker. At the end of each round all hiders have to vote who the impostor was, and for everyone fooled the impostor gets +2minutes time. and for everyone correct the guesser gets +2mins time.

I love seeing people that are not used to play h&s. Seeing them bruteforcing under the preasure of playing with cj, smant, crafty who are really good at the game its amazing. The learning process they go throw so quickly is amazing
You know whats hilarious. If you watch all the H&S videos in order, you can literally see Crafty getting better at the game. He was def the least skilled in the first few episodes, but really picked himself up to be one of the best and live up to his name.

I'm proud of Crafty- Crafty was not originally one of the Speedrunners, but through enough practice, our boi has the jukes now. He held off Fir, generally one of the really fearsome people to have chasing you, really well in the dark sub area.

Happy for all the hide and seek I can get, but the title made me think they thought of a way to turn SMO Hide and Seek into a Trouble in Terrorist town style deception game. That could be sick on small maps.

Not what I had in mind when I saw that there was a traitor. I was thinking that it would be proximity chat and one of the hiders would be snitching to the seeker. Maybe there would be a timer incentive for the snitcher to not get outed as the snitcher.

To me it's a question of how much time it takes. I think teams really help it not take forever when they have so many players

It's always such a blast to see more hide n' seek! I hope they do more of the variations of games in the future. Freeze tag, picking teams, and even doing some of the classic rules with the new players would be fun!
SmallAnt having an intense chase while Byte and Crafty talk about Fortnite is so funny to me.
I honestly kind of wanna give it a try again. Tried it at release like 6(?) years ago and hated the building but there is the no build mode afaik. Idk
It's so funny when you're being chased. Just the amount of panic that you're in. It's like Gmod Hide and Seek when you can't see behind you so you just started screaming cuz you don't know how close they are. xD
Could be cool if instead of one team hiding it’s one person from each team, so each team starts with 2 hiders one seeker

I'm so glad SMO Hide and Seek is still getting love, it's some of my favourite content to watch :)
Idea:
What if instead of swapping roles every round. You do a version where you swap randomly every 5 minutes or something. So you could be hiding in a spot and suddenly the game swaps you. Instead of hiding, you have to start seeking, and instead of seeking you have to find a hiding spot asap. Leading to some potentially funny roll reversal moments.
- Imagine you're hiding from a seeker. Suddenly the hiders are the seekers. Next thing you know, you're chasing the seeker that was just right outside your hiding spot!
- Maybe you're a seeker chasing down a hider. Suddenly the switch happens and then you're running from the hider!
- Maybe its like one hider left. Every seeker is looking for the last person. *SWITCH*. Now it's 8 hiders and 1 seeker! Making it very unfortunate for the lone seeker.
I think this might be tag with extra steps. They have played freeze tag in a few matches, which was awesome!
You'd have to consider what happens once you are found. Would the found people be taken out of the loop?
@@mtgstudios1556 Not necessarily. You wouldn't be swapping as little as every 15-30 seconds. More like every 5 to 10 minutes (or even more). So even if you do swap, you might end up getting all the hiders before the next switch occurs.
To avoid a stalemate I suppose you could limit the number of switches to about 2 or 3 per round.

Make a game mode where its regular hide and seek BUT, Smant is the super seeker who has to tag all regular seekers before the regular seekers find the hiders!

can't say i'm TOO much of a fan of the 3v3v3 angle. i like to shut my brain off when i watch these and it's hard to do so when I'm trying to remember who's on what of the 3 teams.
It would be cool to have simultaneous seeking. All 3 teams will have hiders and 1 designated seeker from each team who tries to find players from the other 2 teams while the other 2 seekers find hiders also not on their team
you guys should do a 1 v x (like 10 and the hider can hide in any single kingdom and then 10 hiders have to try and find them)

I don't usually watch your content but I always come back for the hide and seek videos, I really appreciate doing a highlight of almost everyone's perspective during gameplay. It makes it really fun to watch to see what everyone's doing mostly in situations like this where your in team calls together making strategies and talking behind the other teams backs. Can't wait for the next one!!
