For a beginner opening lines can be extremely daunting. Many times I find myself lost after the first couple of moves trying to play and plan an opening. I find that following and understanding good opening principles are essential when understanding chess. Thank you for your very instructive and well explained videos. Your a great teacher!

Cool video. Thanks for sharing. In the beginning, it looked like you were gonna play a Slav and a Semi-Slav. Both are extremely complex with lots of theory. I've been trying to incorporate them into my repertoire, but then you have to know Meran and Anti-Meran variations, and it's just too much book work. Although the KID isn't any easier, I guess. Have a great day.

Thanks for this. I need a bit more opening theory to avoid getting smashed early against the stronger bots. If I get out of the opening with an even game I can usually outplay them from there with your thinking system. I beat Pablo with 87% accuracy yesterday!

You remind me a bit of the Romans in the first Punic war. You discover ideas and make them better and more efficient.

That was excellent. I like how you are adding to your basic strategy of solid moves and adding CCT L. Tremendous practical advice. Thanks very much!
