The underpinnings is not the same as the Lexus ES. The Mark X is a RWD vehicle, the ES is FWD. It has more in common with the 3rd gen GS, 2nd gen IS and the Toyota Crown.

The mark x is strictly JDM. It's definitely not the corolla, The underpinnings would be similar to the LEXUS ES but the sheetmetal is different and the suspension is tuned to be a bit more sporty.

That's a 2012. But there is a 2013 looking like that. That's a 2012 250G/DBA. There is also a 2012 looking like the one you are thinking about it's Premium L package, it looks like a 2010.
