★ About this video ★
Looking up data from a table or worksheet is probably the most common activity undertaken by Excel users to create reports. Learning to use VLOOKUP for many is their first taste of Excel’s power. But what about when using Power Query? There isn’t a VLOOKUP function, so how can we lookup a value from another table with Power Query? Well… in Power Query, we use the merge transformation.

Thanks Ivan, I appreciate that😀
Very useful, did exactly what I needed to remove certain rows from a query. :) thank you!
Glad it helped! 😁
Awesome video !
Great content.. The approximate match was something new I learned.. Thank you.
Thanks. 😀
The approximate match is a lot of steps, but contains a lot of useful transformations that can be applied in other scenarios.
Excellent tutorial.
Many thanks!
How can i calculate over time hours keeping in view the Sundays, if they work on holiday they are paid full hrs as overtime and rest days above 8 hrs is over time.
You do get a problem with the approximate match when you have an exact match within it. For example if one of the customer total sales was 500.00
What problem as you seeing? It looks right to me 🤔
