I cant help it, I need to comment here as well. This is it. I come here to listen to this one, maybe daily. I cant understand it. I cant even believe that Vessel wrote this. My mind boggles. This this version on top of that. Trancendental. I dont know what it is about this. This song, in general, is underrated, even if everybody in the world heard it and clicked like. Still underrated.
I'd just love to hear what you could do with "The night does not belong to God", this also has a beautiful melody. Played a bit slower with accents in plucked guitar strings....anyway, I can hear it in my head 😅

but now , that same soul may no longer be mine, and that thought hurts me more than anything. i let go from our ripped heart-to-heart, still attached at the arteries and veins: that is to say, not at all. just looser, barely holding on. the smallest and simplest thoughts are still colored... stained by you. the stains grow on my face... your tears from a time and place so long ago and so distant will haunt me like nothing ever will, but not these tears, not my own. this is tied to that scene, a balancing act. karma. and so let it all end neutrally, i will now remain empty once more. or perhaps i will be equal with you... blood for blood. are we emptier, or fuller than before?
