would you have that link handy for replicating the micro switch. I am dropping the bb and changing to ir recoil but need the micro switch for the sound and recoil. Thanks for the video.

you mean where do you buy them? I think, in the USA, at "IMEX", and sometimes on Ebay, but MOST of the "Heng long" stuff is usually, pretty much the same parts, just with different name, as far as i can tell!

The RX18's were what I started with, of course, and they're all complete garbage. Fail randomly, scratch that, they fail amazingly since you can always depend on them! To fail, that is. It was disturbing to play with my tanks, or attempt to, have them fail after literally a minute or two, and NOT even know what the problem was... was it the receiver (RX) did I burn up yet another one? Or is it the transmitter (Tx) this time? Did I do it? Did i slap it too hard checking the AA batteries, or, heavens forbid, DROP THE TRANSMITTER - (instant DOA, of course!) Anyway, the 2.4 units were a God-send since they worked practically 100%; simple to bind Tx and Rx (I was today years old when i realized you don't really need the binding switch just a screwdriver and a third hand attached to the other two). Have you seen the Hooben stuff, i bought 3 Rx and 2 Tx and these look much like Heng long to me, do you know if they are compatible? I deliberately avoided Clark, not that there's anything wrong, but it just seemed like it ought to be lots easier fitting out my T-55 with stuff that all says "Hooben". Although I still don't know how to get a spare Tx (thank goodness you can just bind one Tx to all of the same tanks, if I have to).
Right now (dec 19) busy trying to fit the DKLM RC barrel recoil unit, to my second T55 (I guess i enjoy the punishment of re-engineering every part right out of the box)
