I actually thought about buying this type of snare before buying my trixon tenors, and before buying my thomann snare. If you ever think about buying a high tension snare I suggest getting a thomann, shipping fees aside, they’re awesome quality and sound great with other heads. They include the carrier and mount unlike Pearl, Yamaha, Mapex, ect, for a fraction of the cost. Keep doing what you’re doing and follow your dreams!
If I ever think about getting a high tension snare,I would first try to look for some good deals on Facebook marketplace and then consider Thomann or Trixon.
I really don't get why people hate on cheaper drums. It's just a difference of minor details but you can get one for a third of the price of an expensive drum (including harness and harness attachment)
tips: 1. lower the harness please, so your wrists don't hurt 2. technique on point! overall nice tuning but it's only how you play that makes me comment 7/10🎉👌💯
Sounds better! Definitely don't go any higher on the top head. That rim can't handle it! 🤣 If you have some gaff tape (or duct tape), that might work better than the window clings. Maybe even tape a little square of folded up tissue to the top head and the bottom head. Bottom line, if it sounds (and feels) good to you, then go for it! Learning to tune is a 'trial and error' process. The more things you try, the more confident you'll be with tuning. 😉👍
sounds better! keep on drumming dude! When you have the ability to in the future, look for either die-cast hoops for replacement, or marching style heads of you want a more consistent sound. The marching heads are usually Kevlar re-enforced so dont tighten them too much so it doesnt mash in the bearing edge. The die-cast hoops are harder so they might chew up your sticks more but give you better tuning stability.
Good just try to control that left hand. One good way to learn snare technique is to try and mimic the technique of DCI groups like the cavaliers. Just keep working hard and you'll get even better!
I couldn't though. The stick was literally breaking as I was playing and it felt awful to play with. I could quite literally feel it bend and I threw the stick out right after filming it 💀 | I appreciate the feedback though
For the algorithm. ✊

@RCPercussion Oh jeez. Yeah in that case then I guess it's kinda hard to control technique when your stick is literally breaking lol
@@evanthescienceguy9002 I posted a picture of the broken stick on my community tab
