We're delighted to begin the new year with more celebrations as we step back in time through 40 years of music-making as Hue And Cry.

Over the next 12 months, we look forward to unpacking the 'Labours Of Love' digital series, full of materials from our personal archive, including never-seen-before demos, live recordings, images, videos, and more!
Starting this Friday (12th January), we're releasing a new four-track digital EP on all major download and streaming platforms on every second Friday of the month. This will be followed by a documentary series via UA-cam, releasing every fourth Friday of the month throughout the forthcoming year.
Spanning across four decades, each episode of the series will give all Hue And Cry fans extensive access to behind-the-scenes content, for a full exploration into our memories from working together, performances, experiences, and most importantly, the music. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making these treasured treats!

@@HueAndCryMusic It was indeed. We served in the Signals as Junior soldiers together when we were 16 and then later at 8 Sigs before he went off and joined SF. Great lad. I heard from some friends that he'd gone into medicine after the Army but is back in comms again.

@@HueAndCryMusic the only track I really want to find on various online music outlets is Poets Day. Every Friday on our team leads chat page at work we get the usual TGIF or TFIF and I was always say Poets Day has come around again (it will now be bad luck if I don't!) but I've never been able to find a link to said tune!

What a hue and cry, what a hurricane! I went to the big concert for Glasgow City of Culture 1990 when I was 15, what an amazing day.

Love this! I first saw you performing "Labour of Love" on Ben Elton's Channel Four show "Friday Night Live". I used to video record FNL and watch it multiple times over. I became fascinated by the fusion of pop and jazz, and backing vocalist Dave Preston's enigmatic dancing! Bought the single *after* it had peaked, and then later the Seduced and Abandoned album, the promotional videos VHS release, and then the Remote album and its singles ...
