WOW Mapex is giving every drum manufacturer a run for their money. This is as high end as it gets and still cheaper than most other brands! What a killer sounding kit. I've owned Sonor, Tama, and Ludwig kits (higher end models) and I think I may have found my last kit I'll ever buy right here!!!!
I love the split kit idea of having one set of drums that works for jazz tunings (small straight ahead kit with 18” kick drum), rock tunings (large kick drum with larger toms), or one huge mega kit for fusion drumming 😂
in this demo i feel like the drums are tuned a bit high, however i know they would sounds so good at a lower tuning with a single ply coated head like a UV1 or something
The Mapex Black Widow kit is amazing too.
