I have been asked to leave 2 churches, Don`t judge. I didn`t fit the mold of what they wanted. God has shown me not to put my faith in people, just HIM. So I still seek HIM here.
I'm sorry that I has happened to you I don't fit the mold either I look younger and people say I look like a kid it's hard to sometimes because I wish I could just be like other people but we were never meant to fit the mold God made us exactly how it was supposed to be that doesn't make any mistakes we are perfect the way God made us and don't let nobody tell you different

How can I bear the weight of the Cross and still have strength to hurl stones at my fellow Christians? Chances are am not carrying the Cross at all, just pretending to... This statement hit me right between my eyes... Thank You Pastor for saying it with all boldness.. I did not see that coming.
Lord, open my eyes, show me how to love and pray for those who hurt me, remove fear of others' judgments of me, and remove my fear of not being liked. Remove my judgments of others out of fear, and show me how to love all. ❤️

I pray you mend the heart of who is reading this. They are full of love and life but they are dealing with some confusion. I pray you remind this person that they are loved, beautiful, strong, unique, and very gifted. I pray you show them the truth so they can repair the things they lack in. Lord it isn't their fault. Life has been unfair to them but your love is all they need. Loving themselves is all they need. I pray you remove any bad energy or bad entities that may have latched on from other people. They are stronger to believe another persons words of discouragement. I pray you remove the people who are no good for them and keep close the ones who truly love them. They mean no harm lord. I pray you heal them at this very moment and that you restore them with the holy spirit God. I pray you keep working in our lives because you are the only one we need God. In Jesus name. Amen.

This sermon testifies to the tribe of people who met God personally through churchgoing culture... I met him when i was 4 years but I chose Jesus at camp and he hid himself in my spirit since ❤️. Youth ministry is everything!!! & powerfully eternally transformative!

"You know what makes the sound? The tension." I was already head over heels in love with this sermon, but when he said that? I was ready to get out and run around my car!
This is so powerful. I will listen to this again with a note pad. THIS should be shouted from the rooftops. The stats hurt my heart. I don't know how people have hope without the church...their community of brothers and sisters. I am a pk. My little sister at around 3 or 4 years old told my parents "Chuch chuch chuch, that's all I hear". 😂 But really, that was our life. Fast fwd 50 years to COVID... My husband and I changed churches because the one we had attended for 25+ years because we were NEEDING a gathering place bc our church was VERY slow to re open. Just getting REALLY established and involved there and a man my husband did a construction project for took advantage of him that cost us a mint. My husband became bitter and refuses to go back there. He's found a small country church he likes for the time being and I'm on a small struggle bus torn between being with him on Sunday at a church that sings traditional gyms that I don't know with ppl I don't know and being with my young adult children in a worship and word I relate to... so I alternate. All that being said you hit so many nails on the head with this message for all of us. Oh and big blessings on your church plant. I live in Tennessee but grew up in Louisiana.

Awesome message. For the longest time I have secluded myself and have only stayed connected to the head and not the church body. As of 6 months ago I joined Shoreline City church where I now serve as an usher. Leaving my comfort zone and selfishness was hard but I am glad that I did. Shout out to my pastor Earl 🤙🏻

I made the choice (out of a stressful situation) to return to church. For ages I've been wallowing in the past but since returning to church and becoming reconnected I've been able to live in the present!

My sermon notes for "I still love the church":
1.) The church has a mission to elevate Christ. You need to still love the church because Jesus loves the church. The church belongs to Jesus
2.) God is using the church to make you like him, trust the process. In the same way God is building the church together, you can expect the mess, the bumps, things to be challenging and difficult at times. Expect the mess, being a part of the church means commitment when it's hard, laying down your personal preference not because they don't matter but because you have decided somethings matters more. Being a part of the church means sacrifice
3.) God uses the church to connect you to your purpose, align your soul to the giver. God has called you into something bigger, God will use buried dreams to resurrect better dreams.
4.) You're not limited when you are connected, you are limited when you are disconnected. Your purpose is connected to other people, get connected. Where you feel the tension is where you find your purpose, recognize yourself as the solution and not the problem, God wants to use you intentionally. The purpose of your gifts is to solve the problem that you recognize, God uses the church to connect you to your purpose, he uses the church as a context for the gifts he has given you to your purpose, developed and distributed. Your gifts was designed to impact the church, God gave you purpose but your purpose is connected to people.
5.) God uses the church to bring you into his presence, the presence of God is the promise of the gathered church, it commands the authority, the blessing, the favor and his presence to show up wherever you are gathered.

I saw this headline then and heard it as 'I STILL love the Church'
- despite the compromise and abominable things He sees, He still loves us and won't give up on his Bride. He rejoices at those parts where: .
'The Church is the (Lord's) imperfect amplifier of truth, justice, and the sovereignty of God.
the church is Jesus' love on display;
a symbol of grace, a conduit of mercy,
a hospital for the broken, a family for the lonely, and a place where captives find freedom.'
Just about a year on from this word, I believe He weeps all the more at - in fact is beyond sick of - the state his Body is in, and He has to do justice, for his own name's sake - and for ours and for that of the world He loves beyond measure.
So each one of us has a daily - moment-by-moment - choice to make...

You know Pastor Steve, as a single mom of two boys who are now 37 and 38, I have taught Sunday school for just about every grade that they were in Sunday school. I’ve been on the worship team done seasonal plays and spoke at Women’s Aglow meetings, I was really attached and in gaged with the church. But then through lives struggles my mind was hit with depression, PTSD, anxiety, agoraphobia and insomnia. I’ve been taking medication now for 5 years and I haven’t really gone to church in 10 years but it’s been about 15 years since I’ve really been able to read my bible and I am really praying that I can start reading my bible again today. But I praise God for the message that brother Tauren Wells brought to the table, and I wanted to let you know that I’m ready to step out of my home and get plugged into a church. I do ask for prayer in this because I’ve been held down for too many years and the devil can’t hold this child of God down any longer. I love Elevation and Elevation Worship and I am so thankful for you and Holly and for your obedience to God. Your sister in Christ Ronda
