Im taking my mom for her birthday on the Mardi Gras in Oct in ocean suite room 9418... I paid $702 total through a casino offer and getting $1000 in free play...the drink package.. plus my 200 onboard credit... Pretty much a free trip! I will say i played alot in the casino my last cruise but still altogether this makes up for it and then some! Cant wait!
That’s an incredible casino deal! I hope you enjoy the Ocean Suite; we really love them. I am going on my first Ultra casino cruise on the Celebration this Fall and I’m really excited!
We just booked our first suite ever as we usually choose just a balcony but now we are a family of 5. So we had to do either a suite or an ocean view and we love the fresh air so we went for it. Our travel agent got us a ton of added perks and on board credit!! We are so excited. It does look very close to the size of our normal balcony just longer.. so we will see how it feels. Not a huge fan of people looking down on us but we will deal with it. It’s never been a deal breaker.
It definitely is a balcony room that is just longer BUT that “just longer” gives that nice feeling of 2 rooms, and with a family of 5 I think you’ll love it! As mentioned in the video, if you like to sunbathe, its nice having the open air access to the sun. I’ve booked an Ocean Suite on Jubilee for next year!
What types of staterooms have you stayed in on the Carnival Mardi Gras? Interior, Ocean View, Balcony, Ocean Suite or Excel Suite? What did you think of it, and would you stay in an Ocean Suite?

Honestly, doesn't look like much of an upgrade from a standard balcony stateroom.
Great video and information Dee. We have an OT category suite booked for the Mardi Gras in a couple of weeks. Thank you for the info!
Enjoy your cruise; hope you love your Ocean Suite!
Very informative we sail in August with the OS stateroom

Does this cabin have mailboxes like on the others ?
Yes, yes it does! We got various communications from Carnival as well as our Fun Times delivered there each night.
Thanks for your input… I will definitely be subscribing to your channel…
You are welcome! And thank you!
