after you remove the quill you can turn the body of the ika inside out like a sock. makes cleaning the insides easier.

I stuffed those with peppery ground pork! And grill it! With soysouce and kalamansi dip with fried rice! 👌
Ciao Kimi! Stuffed squid is one of the traditional South Italian dishes but is common all around the Mediterranean Sea you will find many different recipes and I’m sure you will love it!
What kind of peppers are those?
Watching u clean that squid hurt my soul lol
I've seen a lot of fish guts on this channel, but the squid teeth was the first thing to totally freaked me out
Inihaw na pusit. (Grilled Stuffed Squid), one of the most popular summer dishes here in the Philippines. Thats beautyful and perfectly done. Nice to see you doing filipino recipe.👍 Keep safe. Merry Christmas to all!
Man, she is the coolest mom! Much love to this family and all their hard work
We went fishing in Mexico this year on a buddy’s charter boat. He had a new crew and about 45 minutes in we asked the cook/deckhand for the squid to use as bait. He asked “was that the bait”? He had made ceviche out of it!! Well, the 4 of us are all actually pretty good cooks and try just about every dish out there. But none of us wanted to try the ceviche but all the while not wanting to offend the poor cook. We all dug in at the same time and we were blown away!! Super delicious and not tough like we had envisioned it would be.
I’m going to try your recipe minus the feta cheese. That’s a bridge too far only because I can’t stand it. ❤️
Merry Christmas Kimi, Justin and Buddy from Lake Lillian, Minnesota. I wish I was there
If you live e near Santa Cruz Ca. You can!We are diving next week!

We stuff it with pork hash and marinate in charsui. Can be grilled or steam.
Sashimi is ono too.
Ey! Filipino recipe :) nice
Another great episode! I love how u incorporate other ethnic backgrounds of cooking.
Thanks for repping 🇵🇭 dish Kimmy! Mele Kalikimaka from NYC to your family!
I love these videos (and Merry Christmas)! I'm 6 months pregnant with my first and your Jeju video inspired me to take advantage of an opportunity to go free diving with friends when I was 4 months pregnant, which I'm glad I did. You are definitely inspiring me to believe that motherhood doesn't put an end to fun and adventure. I can't help noticing Buddy's adorable diapers. Are they cloth diapers? What kind do you use and are you happy with how they work?
Eeek I love grilled Ika Filipino Style! We grew up eating it. I saw my first squid diving just last month and was so shocked! They’re super neat to watch as they swim. Your chili peppah is so healthy! Can’t wait for my first pepper to show up! Lol. Love that it all started with one pepper from dads bush!
Happy holidays! Buddy's getting big! Saw a video a while back where buddy rolled down the hill. I can relate, I have a 2 month old and sometimes she just squirms and rolls all over the place lol. Love the channel 😁
I laughed. I remember those days raising my kids......lol
I stopped watching other vid for yours
Perfect Christmas video! In Australia we often have seafood for Christmas. Usually my family has big prawns and if we can manage a lobster. This year I bought a lobster, China has stopped importing Australian lobsters so there are plenty to go around this year.
When you hear mom yell, “There you go Kimi” after hearing you say “inihaw pusit.” 👏🏽 Happy Holidays to you and your ohana, Kimi. Cheers!
:squid" in Tagolog= "pusit"... if you hold it upside down, "op-pusit"
*Tagalog
Legend!!! I loved catching squid but I would love to see you doing some recipe of mud crabs. I’m catching tons of mud crabs as a pro crabber every week here in Northern Territory of Australia👍👍

HAPPY HOLIDAYS KIMI, JUSTIN, AND BUDDY.
Sis you didn't butcher the name of the dish at all 🤙🏽
🇵🇭🤙🏽🇵🇭🤙🏽🇵🇭🤙🏽
Kimi, you should have asked the guys that caught the squid what they do with it. Maybe even ask the people you encounter to appear on your show as a guest to demonstrate what they do if it sounds interesting! Why? Because in Hawaii, it's not what you know, it's who you know. People would love to see someone they know on your channel.
Love Squid! Mele Kalikimaka Kimi and all your Ohana! Watching your videos, takes all the bad in the world away to a comfortable place. Mahalo!🎄🙏🤙🌺👋🎄🍷
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Tunes and Dives🎶💦
You should have a side music channel that shows your hunting techniques while playing Hawaiian music. So zenful🌺🌴🥥
You did a great job of preparing the squid, looks delicious, but next time don't remove the squid ink, its one of its best flavours. Check out some Portuguese recipes for preparing squid with ink. Happy New Year and thank you!

I hope everything is well with you and your family and hoping you have a Safe and Happy New Year. I was wondering if you have ever eaten any Hog Jowl? I know you like the cheek muscle in fish and Hog Jowl is the cheek muscle of the hog which to me is even better then bacon!! Have a great day and new year. Please kerp making those great videos and sharing them!!
My wife, Filipina born in Kona, makes a stuffed squid with imitation crab, green onion and parmesan cheese and sautees with garlic butter. We usually used the frozen one from the store, like the one people use for bait but I bet it would be better with fresh squid. I never saw fresh squid in any market in Hawaii.
I'm a fan too here in the Philippines. Glad you included Filipino recipe Kimi. 🙂. You pronounced Inihaw na Pusit right.
Thank You Kimi & Justin , Great Video. Yummy Squid sure looked ONO 😙💜⚘💙⚘💙⚘

Kimi cut kalamari rings and dip them in to flour, frying them and when they’re ready you have to put lemon juice and eat them! ( That’s one of many ways we eat the kalamari in Greece )
