Remarkable is the proper word for this pen. What an interesting filling system! It is am almost quantum leap from the model 10.
I think this may ne the next pen for me. The version uou have in your video is exactly what I would get, save the nin width.
    Great review, Mick.

Schmidt nibs are very underrated. I’ve found them to be very reliable and smooth writers. Beautiful pen. Thanks for showing this to us.

Due to my previous purchases from Michael, he was kind to include me in an early purchase of this pen. I have an M1 and a Quokka, and love both, but this is a clear step up. LOVE this one. Mine is the exact color opposite of your 20 here, and I echo everything you have to say about it. The tactile feel to the body, and in particular the grip section is a pleasure, and won't slip. I can write with it for extended periods pleasurably. And not only are his pens amazing, but he is a wonderful guy to work with. SO detail oriented and truly wants the pens to be the best they can be. I couldn't be happier. Cheers, Mick!

I think for what is basically an artisan-made pen, $250AUD is a fairly reasonable price. Thanks for sharing. It's a bit out of my current pocket money but now on my list of future purchases.

Completely nit picking bc i agree its a beautiful, unique, affordable pen at $250; but i would want a ballast int he pen body so it doesnt roll away without the cap, but thats creators choice. May the triune God bless you always!

That is a beautiful pen. I don't see any for sale on his site. He must do commissions only?

He’s currently re-vamping his website… but the best way is to get in touch with him and discuss what you want.

Yes, reach out to him directly and he should be very responsive. But you will need to direct him as to all the details you want from design, to color combination, nib, etc., unless he has any ready to go (he has sent me pictures for my purchases) Good luck!

Great video Mick and one I've been waiting for. I've already messaged Michael with a request for a couple of pens (I really liked the terracota pen you featured in an earlier video)! Colours on videos can be decieving but I was think this brown colour may be a good match for Van Dieman's Flywheel Rust Brick Red. What do you think having seen the pen in real life?

2 questions. First, could you share the pattern and color of the pen that you received? Second, can we remove the nib/grip section to syringe fill the bladder? I've got fairly unsteady hands, so filling through the nib isn't always the best idea for my furniture...

The pattern is 'bricks' and it is in Prusament 'Mystic brown' with PolyAlchemy 'Bronze' bands. The nib and feed are friction fit and so they do come out, but you will probably find them too tight for regular removal and reinsertion.

150 € for that pen is too much. I bougt new Leonardo Momento Zero Grande with ebonite feeder for 160€.
