About the eye contact thing I got a similar issue. Because of having dystonia, when I talk my eyes will look anywhere but at the person or I will even close them or so (involuntarily)

as for the autism and eye contact thing it is one of the traits one can have, i personally find it hard to make contact at all even with videos and the like

You are not alone with those things, my grandma died last year 1 weak before xmas and she was the anker of our family.
She and my grandfather raised me with my mom so it was.. it is pretty emty without my grandparents. i feel like i dont want to do anything.
