I got a 2016 model Passat with the same engine. It seems like this Golf 7.5 has a longer final drive which makes it slower at high speeds.
In 5th gear @ 4000rpm my Passat does about 207km/h on the speedometer.
Oh ok, I guess they did it to lower the fuel consumption. I too once drove a Passat with this engine and manual transmission but sadly I made no vid.
@@XiAquarii ye seems like they did. These 2.0tdi's need a remap by default imo. Mine is running at 206 ps & 459nm torque atm and it drives so much nicer.
my 2009 TDI with 110hp run 216km/h as well
