When I first found out about Chungha's comeback, this was the song in the promo/teaser that got me excited. Her title track "Eenie Meanie" was good and experimental but THIS is more of what I think of when I think of Chungha. I loved this one so I hope you all can enjoy too!

Hello. If I may, I was with you until you lost me at the end here: "This part with the 'na-na' I did not like becase it sounds like mess." For reference, what you thought as mess, it's actually a musical figure that many songs include generally in their last chorus iteration. I present to you (given that you don't know): Vocal Layering. Not taking away your right to defend your opinion, just saying (respectfully) your appreciation is wrong (in my opinion). Her vocal layering is the BEST part of the song (this is taste).

Haha thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed. I am familiar with vocal layering and like you said, we all have our tastes and opinions. I just felt the layering wasn't done well because it doesn't blend so it isn't as pleasing to the ear. When done well, vocal layering enhances rather than detracts. That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed that part! There's a reason music gets made differently from artist to artist and that is, partly at least, because different audiences enjoy different things :)

​​@@JeffReacts12I personally think that the na na melody added a great touch to the song but, unfortunately, to my ears it wasent mixed properly, maybe that's why it sounded messy to you.
( been making , producing , mixing music for years, imo the reverb on the na na is wrong, too wet and not the right expansion. Also the panning placement of it is kinda odd )

@Death_by_Kim_Yoohyeon exactly. Vocal layering is common and beautiful but it wasn't mixed well here. She's fantastic and I love this song from her but that part could've been mixed better
