I thought I was tripping as “get good” but I have scored so little goals and my opponents in the games since update except I lost 7-2 to a salah Ronaldo and Messi which yeah makes sense
I don’t get this “fair to play” criticism, what did people expect? The game is free? How else were they going to turn a profit? Really enjoying the game, doesn’t make you rage anywhere near as much as fc. I did a couple one nation glory objectives and raged more in an hour on fifa than in 4/5 hours of Ufl it’s insane.
I know right. People are not understanding the fair to play in this game is with the gameplay. Not the teams. The refs and far far less computer ai assistance and scripting compared to fifa and efootball is what makes this game fair to play. You have a way way much better chance in ufl winniing with a starting squad vs a pay to win squad than you do in fifa or efootball. Its funny people are not fully gettng this concept yet with this game.
the 5 losses rule is so smart TBH, its like if you are not playing good you don't have to go through the torture of playing the whole thing to get something, and I think the rewards should be compensating in each level
smart if you get matches like nick, i straight up got 89 and 90 rated demon squads, i have the squad nick played against in the first game, just 1 or 2 differences, my best player is 82, next best is 72, kinda tells you my team
I played like 2 guys in this showdown that had all 91s full legendary/personal skins...I just don't understand playing like 200-400$ just to have the best team posible on day one to do what...at that point the game is done for you..what are you even playing for anymore? there is no upgrades..the best part about this game is upgrading ur team signing new players and stuff..I just don't understand the thought process behind it.. must be they got no love at home or smth but idk...
You can't just pay your way into having those players. Would've costed 1.5 Million RP to have a full squad of stars and you can't buy RP. If hes earned 1.5M RP the he would've played a couple hundred games and made enough CP to buy most players

I feel the difference between putting money on UFL and EA FC is that in UFL you can still get cooked by a good player with leveled up "bronzes" if you are just not good enough. In EA FC buying coins and packs does give you a tremendous advantage, because of the gameplay being so automatic, you just need the players, not being good at the game.
Did you realize that different skin types and colors make chemistry like in fc25? The more of the same skins you have in the team, the better the chemistry. For max chemistry you need 8 skins in the team. Google, your team has no use for skins if you don't have at least three of the same skins for each player, but the mac effect is when you have 8 of them. Research it and your team will be much stronger with the same players.
AI defending is the main reason I stopped playing FC and will be the reason many stop playing UFL unless they fix it. Cant understand their thought process sometimes

I play better against teams with same or higher ratings. When I play weaker teams or even guys with max 2 games played my whole team starts to struggle to even control the simple back pass and 56 rated striker out pace my 74 defender with 78 pace. This is FIFA all over again

I dont really understand what the plan or point is with this game. Its fun but its so insanely p2w and ungrindable that theres no point to climb divs or play competitively. You may aswell rubber band 1k games before u start playing :P I will just get myself relegated from gold everytime i climb and beat on noobs till i have a decent team i guess since rewards are the same across the board and im out - teamed in gold and theres no incentive to go higher divisions besides if ur a masochist :P

Simply not true, I paid for early access and have played for free since then. Have a team average rating 80 now by grinding and doing smart transfers. I came up against Salah and Nunez in showdown and held on to a draw with plenty of chances to win. Skill can def make up for lower rated players.

Did they do something to the finishing in this game with the update? Ive created so many clear cut chances the past couple of days and my strikers seem to have gone blind and cant find the target 😅. Granted i still have terrible strikers, but they were burying these chances before.
yes they have lowered or revised the level of the cards going from 60 to 75 especially for the attackers and also their bad foot so that it is a little more realistic because these are weak cards we can play with but scoring or making good passes has become more complicated.

I go into these games now and always feel at a disadvantage, everyone has teams significantly greater than mine and it gets frustrating because even after dominating other players all it takes is one mistake from me and the opponents 80+ striker with tons of pace just runs away from my defence and scores. Especially with my teams low finishing I’m missing so many more chances. Besides buying more coins and spending money which I don’t want to do, is there any gameplay tips you can give me to better close out games?

Ufl needs to improve the finishing because the amount of times I get an easy chance and I shoot the ball and it doesn’t go in. Which the chances are in front of the goal and it’s just me and the goalkeeper. Also my striker has a very good weak foot.
