Hi instead of wifi at home or work can you use mobile data from your phone instead such as 02 or Vodafone mobile data or does it have to be a modem.
Can it be used to record video,voice call or chat on what's app from other mobile or your own mobile or it can only be used to take cctv photage or video?
Thanks for video - but... I can only view my minicam through my mobile - for security monitoring it does not otherwise record on memory card. Is there an app setting I should be using to enable this?

when being connected do you hear a chime sound , i did? I didnt know the thing was connected , unitl after going in to the setting of camera app setting.
When connected to a WIFI network (station mode as you mentioned), where the recordings and photos go?, on the phone via the app?. I've read that when connected to WIFI network it does not save the recordings and photos to the microSD.

Well it helped alot. But question is if I put sd card inside, it would save the pictures when I am away from home. For exemple I am at work but when I open app I check the sd card information in app would I see pictures in there?

Great video, quick question i am looking to purchase one of theses for the back of my work van is i store my tools there, when the door opens the light comes on automatically but i am wondering if i order this will i be able to have the setting as when it auto detects somebody eg opening the van it will automatically record and save the footage onto the app then i can download it later or do i need to install an sd card for it to do that thanks for the video.

i cant get the camera to connect to anything besides little_stars that app wont let me do anything but connect to it through a hotspot. when i turn it on i do not get a still light, i get the very fast blink. ive tried for over 36 hours in the past couple of days and im beyond frustrated. with the v380 app ive gotten to the device screen when i try to connect to the device though it just tells me its not online. Ive noticed when its blinking very fast the only way i can connect to the camera is through AP on little stars. when i do manage to connect to the camera in little stars not in AP and the device blinks slower i go to the video tab and i click on remote and then click on the camera and it seems to be loading but then i get a orange screen with chinese symbols with an ! at the end. so im guessing its a failure to something. please please please help!!!
you need to connect the camera with your router for get the footage everywhere ,for that tap edit/AP button in up of the first page /network ,and try to change the camera from AP mode to WIFI Station mode add the password of your router

You can use Wi-Fi Direct for connecting the camera to the phone, but you should be close to the car for watch the the enregistrement

You can start playing the video from the "playback" icon in the APP or you can put the SD in your phone and download the VLC player
That was very nice of you to answer his question so understandably, most of the directions for gadgets and how to hook up, you need a interpretor just to understand the steps. This coming from a computer handycap person myself lol. I'm trying to help my husband figure out how to set ours up, and I don't understand the steps, let alone all the instructions. The camera support only 2.4ghz WiFi 8f your WiFi 5.0ghz you need to switch to 2.4ghz

More than likely you got a knock off that only emits a hotspot and doesn't connect to wifi - I'm checking these videos exactly because I want to see if anyone has such an issue before I order the thing so I don't get bamboozled.

Hello i have this cam and could not get it to show on my wifi search and i have an android... i can see all other networks including my neighbors wifi show but not this cam. I have tried to connect the camera to my iPhone many times as the blue light is flashing, but I always get the "No WiFi around the device" message even with the camera sitting right on the phone. After several tries, the blue LED stops flashing, even though the battery should be fully charged after being plugged into the computer for 12 hours. Do you have any idea why the device is not sending a signal to the iPhone?
