Funnily enough though a lot of the stealth mechanics paired with certain pieces of cyberware remind me a lot of dishonored gameplay. Really makes me wish for a dishonored esc Blink ability/mod to be added soon. Actually id LOVE an entire Dishonored style overhaul mod pack tbh
I _think_ the "silent" takedowns exist for bosses because they don't actually _have to_ be silent - there's a perk in the guns skill tree that makes it so that shooting an enemy repeatedly makes them "loose balance" or something like that, supposedly making them takedown-able, but I never actually used that perk so idk if they work on bosses
Few things I noticed while trying to stealth through this game as well: 1 - In Konpeki you indeed aren't forced into combat before the last elevator if you managed to not get detected before 2 - All cameras turn on when a body is identified, so you need to either make them friendly, destroy them or hide bodies to not get detected, this one is particularly annoying because it makes the demon that turns off all cameras next to useless, especially if you're doing a stealthy netrunner build and leave the bodies where they fell (guess how I found this out) 3 - There's a different demon that loads an optics reboot when they begin noticing you, I think you get it if you equip legendary optics reboot, but it makes people immediately alerted once you load the demon in, as if they saw a body, so it's - once again - next to useless for stealth, though you can get _some_ use from it 4 - Legendary Ping lets you distract enemies through walls when equipped so it's extremely useful
I... I actually played like this 95% of the time. I usually do that with every game where stealth is a viable option. I was a little disappointed that very few missions have differences if you go stealth/pacifist.
I found the opposite to be true. There is a LOT of unique dialog for being a sneaky pete. Unless you meant like the PL "Waiting for dodger" kinda difference. cause THAT was rewarding.
In the drone mission for Dakota if you destroy the thing knocking the drones out of the sky without entering the building at all and using the camera system she congratulates you and comments about working smarter not harder.

About the "forced combat" with Del at the end of Konpeki Plaza: not being detected through the upper level rewards you with the missing (mini-?)boss on the lobby level. The reason the garage "forces" combat is because of Del's actions. Excelsior customers don't have to come to him. Soon as he knows where you are, he's gonna roll up. If you really wanted to, you can draw comparisons with how some MGS games also have forced encounters. That first shoot-out scene gave me MGS4 Big Mama vibes.
Btw on the end part of Search And Destroy (the part where you are escaping) you actually can full stealth it and the only way of not being detected by the last guy is by somehow distracting him or by going through a different route to have a better angle
A silenced pistol or throwing knives would've been really useful for redirecting enemies' attention without having to rely on hackable objects, especially in scenarios where you don't have the time to upload a hack (ie being spotted)

I mean, I congrat you on Pacific Mall. I tried to stealth through it too, and it's just so hard, and I wasn't looking to taking down every Ganger in there. Congrats.
My guess is that if you have a netrunning build you can go for the spreading improvements and then I *think* memory wipe is spreadable, would clear aggro from all the guys in the smasher fight. I'd say its allowed for that specific encounter only pretty much but still, worth noting if anyone else considers the run.
I love this playthrough. The second I tried stealth and saw how well it was done compared to anything modern I immediately went full stealth for my first run. The moments I could stealth or hack my way through really fucked up my playstyle but it added a fun layer of challenge. The level design is done so well and the mechanics fit so well that almost every mission is a solvable puzzle.
If you enjoyed this, have you tried the mod called 'stealthrunner'? It rewards the various stealth play styles and activies. Remaining undetected (ghost) pacifism and so on. I'm considering a copy of 1.61 with it installed, to see how it works, since I love stealth.
stealth in cyberpunk is extremely fun if you build your character around it, and just hell if you don't lmao. my first playthrough was all about stealth, but for phantom liberty i went with a full body gorilla arms build. whenever i need to do a stealth mission, things like cameras are the most painful things in the world
@@robertharris6092 More or less the same thing in this case I suspect... makes me wonder if there where more planned ways of reaching boss fights that would have made the takedowns make more sense.
@@robertharris6092 Yup, it's why I don't mind too much when a few things that showed up in early trailers/interviews/etc. don't make it to the final game. But despite potentially moving away from whatever may have been going on to make them more viable... the animations where never removed, if still somewhat glitchy in places.
You can actually sneak in the garage to get to Delamain. I’ve done it a few times. Once you kill them all and get in the car, the bullets still hit the car because the game doesn’t expect you to clear out the guards.
I wondered why the video was so long when I first clicked on it. But with no weapons/hacking allowed it makes sense. This will be interesting to watch.

44:30 it is probably the other way around. They originally planned takedowns to be more flashed out, but cut back on the idea, as the game game gradually spiraled out of control into 1.0 that we all know and "love"
for future reference, if you turn cameras to friendly mode or use camera control they dont revert back when an alert state is triggered. thats why i almost never turn them off
12:55 If you enter combat or get seen, there will be people waiting at the bottom of the elevator. If you ninja it, nobody even considers guarding it, since the guys upstairs haven't triggered an alarm.
The stealth in this game feels so much like Dishonored stealth it's crazy. It's like CDPR was directly inspired by Dishonored to make the core of encounters for this game. Most places have alternative paths you can take, and a lot of encounters can be done without even knocking out/killing anyone with takedowns.

Can't wait for your crazy Phantom Liberty content in the future :D
atleast add 77 or 2077 if you abbreviate cyberpunk 🤢
Thanks bro! I’m stoked for phantom liberty!
@@Guntherjyice bro 💀💀💀💀
Bro CP is a great experience with a killer storyline. I also really enjoy his videos on it and can’t wait to see what the DLC will bring
Ikr i never understood why some ppl said just CP like mf at least say CPK77 or sum
Found your channel 10 days ago and started binging. Cant wait to see the future from you man
Thanks 🤘🏻 excited to keep making stuff!
Congrats on passing 30k dude. in the short time that I have been watching your content its quickly become one of my favourites
Thank you! Happy to keep creating!
Interesting to see a challenge run that is how I initially played the game for like 30 or 35 levels.
Yooooooooooooooooo Congrats on 30k! Your channel has grown so much in the last year, and you deserve it. Looking forward to all the great things to come with Phantom Liberty and Starfield.
Thank you Julia!
really interesting how many ways you've made up so far to play though the game. very entertaining
i don't know how you ain't ripped your hair yet on some of these challenges bc of how hard it is to beat some of the bosses while trying these challenges out. hats off my dude
Thanks! I honestly enjoy doing it!
Love the videos been watching since the 1Hp play through. Glad you hit 30k subs you deserve it with the consistency on your videos each one is extremely entertaining
Yo thank you so much! 🤘🏻
If you really wanted to, you can draw comparisons with how some MGS games also have forced encounters. That first shoot-out scene gave me MGS4 Big Mama vibes.
very good run as always, I'm so happy that you make that much videos on this awesome game. Hope to see more Skyrim too
You know Janya I might have to!
Honestly what this taught me is that you can move people while you've grappled them, I had NO IDEA and I've been playing this game since launch.
Btw on the end part of Search And Destroy (the part where you are escaping) you actually can full stealth it and the only way of not being detected by the last guy is by somehow distracting him or by going through a different route to have a better angle
😂 i was literally gonna comment about boss fights always detecting you but you are already 5 steps ahead. good shit. great video
A silenced pistol or throwing knives would've been really useful for redirecting enemies' attention without having to rely on hackable objects, especially in scenarios where you don't have the time to upload a hack (ie being spotted)
Dude, love your content. You're making these challenges with the *spirit* of the challenge with the extra rules/caveats. 2077/10 would Choom again
Yo thanks! 🤘🏻
Every stealth takedown is just “snap, crackle, and pop”.
The timing of the "Taste the Love!" ad during the hellman mission cracked me up. "Taste the love!"*neck snap* lmao!
2:23 so technically we are 30K Cyberpunk players/lovers (I'm the last one as for now cuz I don't have a conputer/laptop powerful enough to plwy it)
Happy for you :) keep up the good work and maybe I'll see you around in live since I'll have more free time from now to September
44:00 why V seems like he's drunk? 😂
I'm so hyped for Phantom Liberty it will be a game changer for Cyberpunk 🤩🔥
Possibly the most brutal asmr vid
Facts 😂
What probably happened was that content was cut with the unique boss stealth takedowns was that you could kill bosses loud or stealth as opposed to making something just for the people the de-aggro the bosses. But it’s still nice they added it.
So exciting to see someone else do this run. I did it only a month ago. You have way more patience than me.
i didnt realize this was an old video until i saw the old perk system. talk about a throwback
I've been waiting for this run!! This is the first challenge run I tried to look up!!!
43:44 had me dying 😂. Did Oda dirty lmao
Bro watching this Can You CP77 of yours literally make my meal much more enjoyable. I just started playing CP77 for about 3 weeks now, and just recently found your channel by accident and started to watch this series every lunch and dinner for 2 days now. Found your content very entertaining and the glitches of the game which I haven't ecountered are hilarious. Keep this up, bro. Love from Viet Nam
Thanks man! glad you enjoy the videos!
Thanks! I didn't watch most of it but instead listen on your agony and it is entertaining. Interesting boss takedowns too!
"Hands where I can see them!"
Puts his hands around his face and snaps his neck
Sneaky chiropractor playthrough
The neck snap compilations are so funny. Here I listen while doing laundry and suddenly snap snap snap snap snap
im really happy, seeing you grow like that. next milestone 50k im sure we will hit it!!
Thanks bro! Stoked to keep going!
Crunchy crunchy.
Man, I'm gonna hear those sounds all day now.
"We have a problem"
*CRACK*
"No we don't."
🤫
I love this playthrough. The second I tried stealth and saw how well it was done compared to anything modern I immediately went full stealth for my first run. The moments I could stealth or hack my way through really fucked up my playstyle but it added a fun layer of challenge. The level design is done so well and the mechanics fit so well that almost every mission is a solvable puzzle.
only 30k?? ur the only channel i even watch, super entertaining u deserve way more
Dang thanks so much! Glad you enjoy!
If you enjoyed this, have you tried the mod called 'stealthrunner'?
It rewards the various stealth play styles and activies.
Remaining undetected (ghost) pacifism and so on.
I'm considering a copy of 1.61 with it installed, to see how it works, since I love stealth.
stealth in cyberpunk is extremely fun if you build your character around it, and just hell if you don't lmao. my first playthrough was all about stealth, but for phantom liberty i went with a full body gorilla arms build. whenever i need to do a stealth mission, things like cameras are the most painful things in the world
Those boss take downs where... fascinating. They really feel like a half cut content... perhaps some engine limitations going on?
More like cut development time.
@@robertharris6092 More or less the same thing in this case I suspect... makes me wonder if there where more planned ways of reaching boss fights that would have made the takedowns make more sense.
@@robertmcpherson138 if youve ever looked at how new vegas was made game devs have a lot of ideas but can never implement them all.
@@robertharris6092 Yup, it's why I don't mind too much when a few things that showed up in early trailers/interviews/etc. don't make it to the final game.
Was just finding it so interesting that this went as far as having unique animations, and yet the engine and AI fight so hard against this (especially how the AI looks to get really wonky). But despite potentially moving away from whatever may have been going on to make them more viable... the animations where never removed, if still somewhat glitchy in places.
I feel the same way!
Completely unrealted but kinda interesting is that the BMW he's driving in the intro would be 86 years old by the time cyberpunk takes place
Every time I attempt stealth in any game it turns into a shootout so watching you go through this game without being seen is wild... I need to get better patience
Just discovered this channel and it's great! I'm actually a day 1 player and had no issues at the time (xbox series s) and really enjoyed the game.. Keep it up with this cool videos!
Thanks! Glad you enjoy them!🤘🏻
Started with this way but fell in with throwing blades from stealth and found them very entertaining
Sandevistan makes stealth a complete joke in late game.
I love it
I'm glad you installed that BMW mod - I've wondered what it looks like in game but wasn't going to download it without seeing it in action!
It is one of the better driving car mods I’ve ever had!
That breach protocol thing where they get blinded when they spot you would have helped a ton lmao. It would have given you a second chance at least.
With that I've gone in and katana'd everyone in the area before being actually spotted.
Honestly, I am loving these videos. You are becoming one of my most fav youtubers
Yo thank you! Glad I can entertain!
This is the crunchiest playthrough I've ever seen
17:45 huh, I guess that room with the railing set bit only had it bugged as see through past 2.0…
Just stumbled upon your channel. Love the content and energy 🙏🏻
I love that even though he has been a horrible father to you, you still call him dad. It’s kinda wholesome.
technicly no, because there is a mission where you and panam drive in a cave and she drives right in front of the enemies alerting them 🤓
Maybe watch the entire video before commenting lol
Honestly from a mook’s pov this would he terrifying, like imagine your at work guarding something then all of a sudden you notice everyone but you are dead, form the same way: a snapped neck.
Then you feel it, someone had their hands around your neck and your dead
Congratulations on 30K! I've been here pretty long already, you deserve a lot more. See ya in the major leagues, AbraHamSandwich!
Yo thank so much! 🤘🏻
