Hi, The Skoda range in my opinion is greatly underestimated. I use to drive BMW's until I retired. It cost me £700 to change and get into a new Karoq with an increase of around £3 in my repayments. The S/line which I have has all the extras you could ever need as a standard car. I'm getting over 44mpg from a petrol engine. I cannot praise them enough. Take care.

Hi Victor, It all depends on the type of driving you do. I generally get around 42 mpg around town. On the way back from Padstow to Sutton Coldfield it did 51.1mpg. I was amazed. That's doing 73mph and 2000rpm.

I have the same car with the alloy covers. Want to take alloy covers off but missing the center Cap and bolts. Lookinh for sizes of center cap and bolts of this car

Much better with Varioflex rear seats. I'm surprised because this top version doesn't include them....Normally the Varioflex seats are standard in Karoq Style and higher versions ....
Coming from a Superb III Sportline, I have to say I was very disappointed with the quality of the interior trim of its counterpart Karoq. The Superb had soft touch yet sturdy surfaces everywhere, alcantara lined door cards, alcantara and leather seats and felt absolutely top notch - all as standard at that trim level. The Karoq had cheap hard plastics throughout and fabric seats - a very noticeable comedown. It felt very low grade, and put me off buying, which was a shame because I preferred the exterior look to my eventual purchase, the SEAT Ateca FR Sport - the latter offered far better quality and value for money in the cabin. Sort it out, Skoda!!
i traded my superb sportline plus 272 in and bought the same as above in same colour , i looked at ateca fr and could not make my mind up , never got to drive the ateca , some say on reviews its a firmer ride , i like the leather as standard was a big plus but if i can remember there was no electric tailgate , the new sportline karoq has matrix lights which are amazing , i know what you mean about door panels as were alacatra in superb , would have liked to of speced the karoq with the upgraded alecantra seats which did not realise that also gave you the trim on door panels . in some ways the karoq has a better ride than the superb around town and on rough roads .... had the superb from new for 3 years and had the karoq for 4 months now , was one of the first to get the new face lift one ... did consider the cupra formentor which has same 1.5 tsi and dsg as skoda .... funny with skoda you get 3 years breakdown cover with the car and vw , audi and think seat only a year ? one think a mis is that massive boot in the superb .. ha ha
You have not chosen the right seats and do not have a good positive mindset. It doesn't matter how much you don't like this Škoda Karoq car. They have already failed with the Second Generations Kodiaq design's exterior and interior seats, which is a disappointment in my view from the First Generations - Facelift's design that looked a way more tougher in appearance, nicer and more glossy in the interior and on the exterior, with stylish leather seats (stitched red or without) Now more nowadays it is becoming a stingy brand with too high of a price tag so it prevents us from buying these cars when we should also already change because of these environmental agendas which are bs and it smells like they are doing this for a profit in the market.... But do we need this and do we need to adapt to this? Answer: NO Wake up, they are here to zuck you and your money with a straw when you have worked your life out for a car. IT'S NOT WORTH BUYING THEIRS UNAFFORDABLE CARS THAT ARE NOT EVEN WITHIN THE REACH OF FAMILIES AND PEOPLE'S BUDGETS. THIS IS A FRAUD WITH WILL AND MEANING. THEIR INTENT IS TO LURE US ALL INTO THIS MARKET TRAP.
Beats me why you'd expect the interior in a Sports UTILITY Vehicle to be the same as one in a car aimed at exec level. Nothing wrong with the quality of Karoq's interior at all. It's certainly better than the new Tiguan's . . .
So far my fuel consumption after 18.000 km (just over 10.000 miles) is 6,0 ltr/ 100 km (1,6 gallon / 62 miles). It's a little bit more than before because we drove more than 2000 km at high speed (160 kmh / 100 mph) in Germany. I own a 1,5 ltr act version and it's fuel consumption isn't bad at all. It's even better than my previous Skoda Fabia with a 63 Kw. engine. But I agree with you that they should make a plug in hybrid version so you are offered a choice.

I have karoq prestige by march 23 and i see it has poor assembly quality comparing to my mazda. the light on the left door sagged and broke while pulling the door, the left inner door handle came off, the left front guard does not hold the double-sided adhesive and as far as I can see today, the plastics holding the steering wheel do not fit together (just above the start stop button) and service repairs are costly ( no free repair evrn it has 2 years warranty 😅
Today I had my driving test in this, and I am disappointed, I rate the driving comfort as 4/10 softer than in my BMW 330i from 2011 but is much much louder inside, here in the Skoda it roars like in a cinema, ugly, I didn't like it, i had like 30 min trial and my ears couldn't handle it
Skoda is subsidiary of Volkswagen which is not trustworthy for safety features specially airbags, my car met with accident and airbags didn't deployed when needed; we were saved by GOD sake otherwise it was fatal accident and may other be not so lucky to share worst experience with defective airbags of VW. 😎
@AloysiusTSY Glass particles went into my head and since then am suffering with severe headache and neuro problem; if i died in that accident will not suffer by these problems which will increase timely.

Just went to see the ateca and sorry but the karoq is in a different class altogether. Nowhere near as good IMHO.

If you survived without the airbags, doesn’t that means VW cars are extremely safe that they save you even if the airbags fail 🤔

Airbags will not open if you are not wearing seatbelts, which generally the case with all Indian drivers.
