Elrod make sure you have the required 18 7/8" from the lower cowl fender mount hole to the subframe firewall mount pad before welding your firewall in. That's critical for fender mount locating
Thanks for the tip! Before I took the old cowl off I measured from the subframe mount to the lower fender mount bolt on the cowl. That's what I used to set the height.
Great videos. I have a '69 Camaro in storage that I need to do this to but I don't yet have the skills. I have a '68 Dodge Dart that I bought that needs a bit less metal work that I'm going to learn on, I'm pretty new to welding too. I sure hope I can get mine as solid as yours looks. Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Where did you purchase the cowls. I got R/s from Muscle car central (AMD)and needed to split and pull apart upper inside corner and patch and weld. D/s i got from American performance (Ebay) aka Taiwan absolute junk., Is there anything made in America anymore?
Thank you for sharing.👍👀
Coming along nicely! 👍
New hotness look good 👍
keep up the nice work you do ... 👍

Awesome work on the 68! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Excellent work, great attention to detail, don't know why you don't have more subscribers, getting ready to start on a 67 Firebird myself
Thanks a bunch man! I don't do much to promote the chanel or appease the algorithm.

Thank you. Practice makes perfect. I recently took a welding class and it was very helpful.
Do you mind saying what you use for your camera set up? I love the clarity
I just use my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. Good lighting makes a huge difference.
Wow. I was guessing professional equipment

I got the cowl panel from my local shop. It is a Dynacorn I'm quite happy with the quality. Not much is made in USA anymore, sadly.
