My sister introduced me to the Crow and the Butterfly. It's been eleven years since she's passed and now whenever I hear the song it reminds me of her. ❤
THANK YOU!! I hate it that I don’t have the money to go out and buy albums right now; to support the band the way they unknowingly supported me but thank you so much from the Broke Folks Union!!
@@futuramabender2078 Yes, I love Planet Zero 💜 I love all their albums really, they always release great songs on every album they've done. My favorites on the Planet Zero album are probably Daylight, Dead Don't Die, Dysfunctional You, A Symptom Of Being Human, and Hope. What about you? :)
@@futuramabender2078 ANWTD is a great song. I've heard people say it has a Sound of Madness feel to it. I remember when the ATTENTION ATTENTION album came out and the album came with a code to download the bonus tracks, the iRock UA-cam channel had an audio video where you could listen to them. Including the bonus tracks from Threat to Survival, but they were taken down :( but I found the songs on a couple of people's UA-cam channel.
This album was my childhood, I was like 6 when this album came out, I remember my dad bought the cd and I would listen to it at least 3 times per week, not a single bad song on this album, my 2nd fav shinedown album after amaryllis
#'s 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 10... this was my life blood growing up in high school. Bruh! Saw you all some years back as part of Rock Fest in WI somewhere; Talk about some really great memories.
I'm just grateful that it's been uploaded as a whole album. Thank you Shinedown and happy 15th anniversary of The Sound of Madness album! ❤ Your music has helped me a LOT over the years I've been a fan and listening to you.
I remember waking up and turning on VH1’s top 20 countdown and barely hearing the end of a song: “Sometimes goodbye is a second chance.” I sat stunned. Those words were powerful. I went to my computer and typed them into google, and discovered Shinedown. That weekend, I bought an iTunes card and bought every song they had. The rest is history.
I love this whole album! Call Me has a very special meaning that hit me hard an eternity ago. Thank you Shinedown! You’ve been a part of my music library since Leave a Whisper
This album made me a fan of yours! My classmate from tech school introduced me to you all and the first song I heard was Second Chance. After that, I just fell in love with you guys. Continue to always be yourselves. Love you and always keep rocking ! ❤❤❤
I discovered watching the movie Final Destination. It's one of the best albums of all time! Love every song! Keep making great music and keep rockin'! 🤘🤘🤘
about 12-13 years ago I was in highschool and my dad gave me an Ipod it had music on it from my stepmother. It was a lot of christ rock and country that I ddint care for. But some of the music was from my dad ripping songs online and it had devour and sound of madness from this album. I litterally only listened to those two songs and dolly partons 9-5 on loop because it was the only music I liked on the ipod. at a later point I was going to update the Ipod with CDs I had at home and loved but I waited years to do it because I didnt have Shinedown music for myself. Got the sound of madness and amyrillis finally updated my Ipod
Saw y’all in 2010 (I think?) when y’all played Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston with Sick Puppies and Cavo. It was an incredible show! Much love from Texas!
The strangeness of this bands impact is something I can't explain It's fantastic that their contribution to music stayed in tact through more bs than anyone should ever need to except I know jesus tells his story and this music is like a most pit keeping Jesus up so by reaching out involves a considerable amount of going in and reclaiming every part of ourselves if that fight has an alternate path I don't know it I've never heard it But I have wondered many times if there was a point Those who chose to take a second chance
@@livquin8557 Why don't you tell me about old, and "original shinedown fan" you are. I literally grew up on Sound of Madness. I was with Brent Smith when he was in Dreve. Now it grosses me out to see what he's become. I vomit in my mouth when I hear Planet Zero. And Brent's personality change has made me rather listen to Ed Sheeran than this soy boy appealing rock. Eugh

One of my all time favorite albums. This album makes me so nostalgic. We need another Shinedown album with The Sound of Madness vibes 🖤
Have ya checked out Planet Zero?
Listen to the song ANWTD or A New Way To Die. Some say that it sounds like the song Sound of Madness. It's a bonus track off of ATTENTION ATTENTION

For me It’s kind of hard to pick a Number one Favorite on this Album. But it’s at a three way Tie between Devour, Breaking Inside, and Call Me.

Nope, i was in After 16 seconds
I never listened to sin with a grin thats a criminally undertated song
