@karladickens1732 oh trust me, I do a lot to change but when you're in certain work environments you get pushed down and you can only do so much. I hate being told to change or be more positive, blah blah blah when I bring something up for clarification or change. Everyone is quick to point back and it's draining. It just shows me I am limited and I don't have options at the moment. Other people want the power so I just need to be quiet. I'm friendly and try to work with the team but no one else is taking any accountability and then I'm told not to take things personally which is the dumbest thing because everything affects each of us at a personal level whether at business or not. I just can't go to a job without being invested and if I invest then I want to do well. It's a nasty cycle and I don't have money to leave so I'll keep my mouth shut until I can find something else. Without too much detail, the last manager put so much blame on me and tried to fire me after 2 months and even though he is back to sales and a new manager is in, they let the old guy play games, horde information, hasn't apologized to me, turns his back on me at company events yet I'm supposed to be all chipper and rainbows??! He's drained this place and still is allowed to do what he wants. It's infuriating.
