I lost my dad to the Covid 19 four days ago. Despite I'm in my mid 30s I was still daddy's girl, I can't imagine life without him. I kept hold of my phone the whole day yesterday hoping that my dad would call me to wish me happy Easter but he never did. It hurts a lot he died alone in the hospital without having me beside him. This song reminds me of my dad. He died due to gastric cancer last June 8, a day before my daughter's birthday. He went through a lot of pain and suffering but he was a very strong person. He kept strong for 3 months after my mom died so he could be with us but the heaven called him already. He was the man I looked up to for my whole life. He was my friend and number one supporter. The only regret I have is I don't have the power to heal him. We went through many memories together since I am the one always with him. I missed him so much.

I was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the bowel last year, it has since spread to my liver, adrenal gland, and lymph nodes behind my stomach. it can be managed but not cured, so I know sooner or later it will kill me. I've accepted it the best way I can, by just living my life day to day, but it has hit my family hard. The chemo is working at the moment so fingers crossed it will stay that way for a few more years yet, and hopefully, walk my daughter down the aisle as a very proud Father. I’ve never had a great relationship with either of my parents, but she stepped in my life and took care of me. She stood by my side At a time when everyone abandoned me, even my real parents. When I was a little boy I used to be very happy when we went to church to see her, and cried a lot when it was time to go. I used to cling to her clothes tightly and say I want to stay here with you. I would always run to her arms, rest my head on her shoulder when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She would always listen to me and comfort me in the hardest days of my life.
She passed away today. I consider her to be my real mother, my guide, companion, and my Angel. She was the best thing that ever happened to me, the only happy thing in my life, was her.

This song reminds me of my dad. He died due to gastric cancer last June 8, a day before my daughter's birthday. He went through a lot of pain and suffering but he was a very strong person. He kept strong for 3 months after my mom died so he could be with us but the heaven called him already. He was the man I looked up to for my whole life. He was my friend and number one supporter. The only regret I have is I don't have the power to heal him. We went through many memories together since I am the one always with him. I missed him so much.

I was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the bowel last year, it has since spread to my liver, adrenal gland, and lymph nodes behind my stomach. it can be managed but not cured, so I know sooner or later it will kill me. I've accepted it the best way I can, by just living my life day to day, but it has hit my family hard. The chemo is working at the moment so fingers crossed it will stay that way for a few more years yet, and hopefully, walk my daughter down the aisle as a very proud Father. But when I do go I want this song because my wife loves this version and in a way, it's our song. I apologize if this comment upsets or offends anyone, that was not my intention.
