What a GREAT FU€KIN STORY MAN! I never would've guessed it as a kid but Richard Marx seems to be a really cool dude. His really quick cameo on recent Family Guy episode showed that he can be self deprecating, & was fu¢kin hilarious too!

How old is this podcast? Kenny Rogers died in march of 2020,and Richard talks about him as if he still is alive? And oh boy,I've listened to it many times and he didn't even say :for me at the end:o))) Cheeky s..b....;) I however adored Kenny Rogers so whatever the rules where back then he still is one of my favorites.And so is Richard Marx!

I was under the assumption that copyright law was much like patent law, whereas you only need to 'change' something by 15% and you can call it yours.

Wow, Ricard Marx is a better man than me. Kenny took a beautiful work of art that a fresh, new talent wrote and straight up changed one minor thing, knowing that he would then get to claim 50% of it. I don't know if he got a lot of help afterwards from Kenny, or if getting a credit for a song with Kenny was better then writing it alone and keeping all the credit, but it still seems like black hearted thing to do. Kenny certainly didn't need the money or the credit at the time. I would still be quite upset.
