  • The 2021 SEC Freshman of the Year leads the nation in stolen bases (46 through 6-7-21) and has consistently gotten on base (.476 on-base percentage). His discipline at the plate has resulted in 40 walks through 58 games. In addition, the All-SEC defender sports a .991 fielding percentage and has just one error on the year. Bradfield, Jr.’s foot speed routinely changes the approach for pitchers on a nightly basis. The American Heritage High School (Fla.) product is one of the most exciting players in the nation.

    42 stolen bases in one college season is fucking ridiculous

    I love Bradfield! He’s my favorite Vandy player. I’m going to miss watching him next year! He’s so exciting and energetic, and he’s also very friendly. Can’t wait to keep up with him in the majors!

    Best all around player on the team

    So excited for him the O's. Best case, dominant leadoff hitter and gold glover. Worst case, a 4th outfielder that is a game changer as a pinch runner and an incredible defensive replacement. I prefer the former of course, but even the latter has huge value.

      Running is beginning to come back into baseball somewhat, but it is not the 1980s. So your analysis is right on point!

    This guy is going to be a star if he can consistently hit professional pitchers. Has everything you'd want in a big leaguer minus the power.

    It’s interesting he has the same number as former MLB MVP, Willie McGee. He kinda reminds of me of Willie McGee.

      Never in the history of baseball has the #1 overall pick been a contact hitter with very little power. It's not going to start with the way baseball is today.

      @April 2520 he’s got power potential I think he will develop nicely when he gets drafted

    If he has that many stolen bases and runs a 6.2 then micheal Gupton is going to be a problem at a 5.96

    • @draftnasty
      @draftnasty  Рік тому

      He may be faster than that now. That was some years back. Both are blazing, but 6.5-and-under are all good times. Shows how rare Gupton's speed is

      @@draftnasty I didn’t mean he didn’t have an arm. I was wondering why his arm wasn’t mentioned that’s all. There is not a lot of consistency in these videos and are misleading.
      The basics are speed, arm, hitting, and fielding.
