That Flying V is really one of a kind. It sounds great and records really well.
Sebastiano from BRBS is one of the best amp builders out there. What makes the difference is his ability to listen and perceive the small nuances and finally translate all this into the sound you are looking for.
That Opening Riff and Guitar sound is EPIC.

Killer Doug! I ordered mine about the same time you ordered yours from Sebastiano (with the same mods) ... yours got out and mine is still in Italy because of the COVID19 export restrictions. I can't wait!! I have two of his other amps and love them. Great stuff! Awesome playing, as always!!!!

First I was reminded of Steve Stevens, then of older Ozzy stuff, some Vai is in there, too, and finally a good chunk of DRishness crazyness. Interesting sound, seems to be quite loose. I bet it feels nice under your fingers. Another bet: relatively easy to play and forgiving?!

no pedals. straight in. the amp has a boost in it you can activate it with foot switch.

This will seem kind of silly after all that great playing and all those amazing passages, but my favorite part is the last chord played on the back LP. (He actually plays it twice). It is the essence of a mean guitar sound. No fancy technique or effects, just pure, ferocious power. It’s like the sound the Balrog would make in Lord of the Rings. Those of is who love guitar like the skill, the gear, and everything else, but in the end it is just the sound itself that is the thing. And that is a big fucking sound.
That "mean guitar sound" is the classic Marshall "roar" that pulled a lot of us into this rock guitar space in the first place. Doug just happens to be a master at rock riffing in this space/place. HoooRah!

@@bigslott hi, no I've never tried one, i heard it on UA-cam just like you. But I love amps more than guitars and tried and heard a lot of marshall like amps, this one simply doesn't make me scream. But it's only my honest opinion :-) I love bogner amps in that range, especially the helios eclipse. Check it for a comparison!
