Nice one fella, nuff respect! My only claim to fame was I did some engineering in Faulkner Studios in Camden in 1993 with Liam Howlett, Prodigy! Those were the days! Kool FM 94.5 Rush FM 92.3, J4U London!
Thats so fucking sick! sometimes I feel like the jungle I make in 2021 is lacking something you guys had that we're never gonna get back. Any thoughts?
@@jakestreamer6416 Mike (Rebel MC) considered this an experimental offshoot for his label...Tribal Bass i believe it was called. When one considers the majority of it was done with C-lab and an Akai S-1000, it lamost seems laughable compared to today's technology. I Aston Harvey from the Freestylers did the programming and Paul Borg did the mix...yours truly patched the gear, aligned the machines , made tea and learned what i could.
the innovation of 3d graphics computers and movies advertisements wars products and serializations like never before. I was alive during that time. The end of all that we knew.
This is a perfect example of how to sample. By all means this should have been cheesy with the walking in the air sample but instead its a beautifully haunting track which really gets the goose bumps going
summerdaez lovett I can't fucking believe ive had this tune on wax for YEARS NOW, loved the track, but only Now realized I already have it in my clutches!!!! Thank you 4yr old comment for my 2016 Christmas present =D
Wicked, I was assistant engineer on this with Paul Borg. The good old days at Roundhouse Studios in London. Shout out to Mike and Acid Aston!
