Since I was a little kid I've always liked climbing trees.
Now I'm 21 and still the same.
It's like an impulse: you see a tall tree that is climbable and you feel the need to climb it.
    Didn't know anyone like me

Last summer I found a video on UA-cam about a guy climbing trees with climbing gear and hanging his hammock high up in the canopy.
The next day I bough a hammock and went in the forest by myself.
I found two nice trees and set up my hammock. I really enjoyed my time there.
After a week of watching tutorials about tree climbing I decided to buy some basic climbing gear. I learn how it works very quickly. After a few days of getting familiar with the equipment I went and spent my first night high up in the canopy of a lovely tree.
There's a special connection between us and trees. We feel safe up there. It feels like home.
My butt was freezing the whole night, by the way 😂

i have been climbing trees for a living for 15 years. I consider my self very lucky to have the best job in the world . I dont consider my self a "safe kinda climber" i dont always were a helmet or follow all the safety guidelines. But when i see you climb with out a harness and life line .... Twice so far, pretty big branches broke off from my weight . It does not mater how good at climbing you are when the branch you walk on snap off.

Well, you can start working out your biceps and back, along with triceps, get decent shoes, and just start, I used to climb daily when I was younger, I fell out of that habit but now I'm back in and I'm happier because of it, just start and try not to fall, skill will come with time. Also get good at squeezing the tree with a clap position because sometimes that is necessary, if you have other question s ju st reply, I'll check here daily
