I just purchased Embrilliance Essentials. The reason I bought it is because I have a Brother se625 and I found that I wanted to make larger designs. I found your channel and you have been a wealth of knowledge. Since I am just beginning machine embroidery and just starting to delve into embroidery software, I struggle with how to chose the right size design for my project and for my machine. For example, I wanted to attempt your hooded bath towel project. I found designs on Etsy but, how do I know if the size is too small or too big for my Se625 even though I purchased a reposition hoop and embroidery software? If I purchase a design too small or large will the design not work and be distorted? Is it just a trial and error until you learn what works? Or, is there a way to determine the size of design needed for each project/ machine capability? I do not belong to Facebook, Twitter, etc. My only social media platform is UA-cam. Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Thank you! No I don't have a dime magnetic hoop but do have an embrodrix and mighty hoop and love them.
Just a suggestion I learned through other vlogs. Start a questions with a capital Q: ask question. OR put the question in ALL CAPS... That way you or your moderator can locate them faster. Thank you for your videos, you are a great, patient instructor.

HI Mina, If you just have Essentials now, Then it costs $179 to add Enthusiast and $649 to add all 3 levels of Stitch Artist. There is no discount when you bundle everything, so you can add on one program at a time or all at once and it will be the same price. Thanks. I had to watch today because I had too much on my plate. You are a great teacher. So,somehow lost the properties box (the box that is supposed to be below the object box). How do I get that back again.

Karlie … what is best ? Download the software or get hard copy ? If you download it and your pc crashes is it go one permanently???
The great thing about Embrilliance, is that you only need to have your serial number saved somewhere. You can download the program from their website anytime you need to, then just enter your serial number. I have had to do this several times now between restoring my old computer and then getting a new one. A hard copy is not helpful because the download is always on their website and they are always updating it with new versions. Hope that helps!
Can you teach more on stitch artist and how to design easy appliqué large numbers, like the tack down, material and satin stitch and how to do that. I figured that could be easy to start with. Thank you!!

I missed your live ...How do you make a template using embrilliance essentials?
You can print your design before sending it to your machine and it will print true to size so that you can use it as a template for your placement

Hi Karlie thanks a lot for your video very useful ..I would like to ask you a question ...I have purchased a lot of BX font but for some reason after paste them in Embrilliance , when I reopen the program the save BX Font weren't there ...please can you help..Thanks :)
Are you installing the BX file for each size that it comes in? I just drag and drop the file in Embrilliance, but you should also be able to double click it to install. Then when you go to your Font icon at the top of your screen, all of your installed fonts should show up.

I always use my thumb drive
I bought a font from juju and I downloaded it but it doesn’t show up in the embrillance section of the fonts.

Se625 when I save my design it saves as pdf and then I can't open it on my computer and when I send it to my USB it is too large to open on my machine...
Help
You need to save it as PES file. Also make sure that your design is not bigger than 4x4 because that is the largest design your machine can open and stitch.

Essentials helps you to make small changes to designs you purchase online. Stitch Artist allows you to digitize your own designs from scratch.
So is the fee to get embrilliance a one time fee or is it once a year or month?

How do I get the design when it is done and ready to sent to my machine
You need to save the design as a Stitch File and choose the format that your machines uses ( Brother/ Baby Lock = PES). I save that on a USB stick, and then plug that into my machine.

At the top of your screen, go to View, then Manage Views. Make sure all of the options have a check mark next to them. Hope that helps!
