I’m using the smaller S-panel mod you mentioned, same seller. (Instead of the MCP cone …It plays the original Tron on loop.) I have my Tron on a mini fridge stand for an added 4” of height. This makes the S-panel more visible when standing.
Thank you! It's one of the few cabs that is about as good as you're ever going to find, short of finding a mint arcade version (which would not have DISKS OF TRON on it). A1up really got it right on this cab.
Love my Tron and last week ordered the Bezel mold kit for it. Excited to see how this looks in my cab! I went with the "S" Panel mod from Tulsa Arcades which uses a photo frame (that also plays videos on loop).
That's awesome. What's cool about TRON is that you don't have to do a thing and it still looks sweet. BUT if you feel like going to the next level, you can.
Now I’m regretting not picking up Tron. Even if it showed up at 699.99 right now I think I would make the purchase. I hope there are some available seems like it’s been sold out everywhere. The cab looks like an XL compare to other cabs. JDV like always great video and thanks for sharing the mods.
Man. I still have this in a box. I have not gotten to unbox it yet. It’s been over a year. Do you think keeping it in the box does anything to the cab? I only ask because I had the original Mortal Kombat in a box for a while too and when I finally put it together it had audio issues.
I was shocked at what pristine condition mine was in - 3 some years old, moved from Lord only knows how many warehouses in that time. A1up does do a great job with their packaging and instructions, something people in the hobby sometimes take for granted. Heck, if you live anywhere near Wisconsin I think you have a buyer if you're wanting to sell it....

I did do the mirrors on the side panels. I think I only paid $10 for 10 sheets and cut it out my self.

I noticed the cabinet rocking back and forth? Is the floor not level or curious if it's that unstable?
