DIRGE "Hyperion" [Full Album]

Latest LP from French post/sludge metal group Dirge, released in 2014 on Debemur Morti Productions. Follows the same style of their previous few albums with long, atmospheric songs like a more industrial/sci-fi take on bands like Isis and Cult of Luna. Features a guest vocal spot from Nicholas Dick of fellow French industrial metal group Kill the Thrill on the second track.

If you like this one, you'll probably enjoy most of the others as well. They actually started out more as an industrial metal band with drum machine, lots of samples, etc. but by their third album they were sounding a lot closer to what's being played here.

Id recommend Blight And Vision Below A Faded Sun.. Amazing album and imo the music makes you feel like you're in the dry and deserted wasteland thats depicted on the album cover..
