Well, thank you for this wonderful product. There is a very, very important question for me before purchasing: Can this telescope be an alternative to the Nikon P1000 camera in order to obtain a 125x zoom for photographing distant places?
How much is the optical zoom and digital zoom of this telescope.
I have no idea about dslr cameras. I suppose they should be better but i don't know.
I created the darkest of the dark and tapped every led and opening . Tied in bag dropped in the closet in 10 bags
The issue we had to battle is getting the firmware to update. Without the update our tablets would not connect to the scope. Hope the next firmware update will fix some of the buggy issues with connection,updating. Also in all the videos we have watched no one talks about the slewing setting on the scope. What do the number on the slewing control bar mean?
Mine works well in samsung tablet. I'm not sure about what you're asking about slewing. If you're on our discord please post a picture there so i can figure it out
@@DobsonianPower Samsung galaxy here and it would not connect until the update had been loaded. Look at your screen it is the icon that looks like a street or road you can change the slew rate when using the digital joystick or the button to move it left.right ,up,down. On that control bar you see there are numbers that the bottom of the bar that change as you change the rate the scope moves at. What do these number mean?
@lighstwatch ah, i don't know it's the scale. To know the exact measure type you should message dwarflab. If everything it's working fine after the update that's good. It means it's allright, that's why they are always improving
I never noticed the numbers at the bottom, but the slewing rate is handy as it allows you to move the telescope manually at a high rate of speed for coarse control and very slow speeds with fine control. I would like to see them add a number for the focus as it is fiddly to manually focus in on an object.@@lighstwatch
@@BarryFence Did write dwarflab but did not get an answer to that question. New updates looking promising. A little worried with rumors of a dwarf III hope they do not stop supporting dwarf II.

i personally would get the virtuoso gti, either 130 or 150p but it's not bad at all!
It's a pocket telescope, Different needs. I also prefer the virtuoso but it's another league
Funny how ALL reviews are saying the same thing. (except mine)
But I don't think this thing is any good because the lens is too small.
LOL, it only has a 2MP and a 8MP censor.
My smartphone is WAY better than this thing.
and despite that with your smartphone you can't take the pictures dwarf 2 take of deep sky objects ;)
